During the two weeks we were in Slovenia. This was probably the place where we had the most interesting meal. This is a small unassuming restaurant, kind of in the middle of nowhere. We only came here because it was within a walking distance of our guesthouse, and we were too tired to ride our bikes any further. The four of us ordered four entrees and three starters. During our visit they didn't have a printed menu, meaning that the waitress tells you what's available but you have no idea about how much anything costs (some dishes go for €20+). It also makes it hard to decide. The food is wonderfully presented, but lacked on taste. The meat was too salty for my taste and the gnocchi a bit sticky (too much flour). All in all an enjoyable experience, but I wouldn't return...

Bread was not served together with the soup and only got mine after asking for it.

Pork medallion main dish is a huge disappointment. The meat is way too tough and you can hardly cut through the pork. Potatoes over seasoned. I was very hungry but still didnt manage the finish half the plate.

My friends veal medallion obviously is way better as he has no problem. But my experience is definitely a one...
