The place is very well cared for, located in a historic building in this really pretty town. The dishes were good, especially the pasta stuffed with mushrooms. As an appetizer I tasted the mushroom soup I found delicious, it is a small portion and I have the advice. Secondly the lamb was good, but not great, a bit tough. The waiters were good but they did not spit joy. You eat well, not cheap but not expensive.

Awesome experience. Lunch was great, so was the service. Quality of food is very good, feels like home-made. And the menu has many options, much more traditional Slovenian dishes compared to other restaurants. Reasonable prices and a very nice and cozy setting a minute away from the main square.

We stumbled upon this place when parking right next to it. This place is downstairs in the basement but pretty fascinating to learn about the history of the building and the restaurant. Best of all the food was fabulous. Friendly and competent service too. Can recommend.
