Will never come here again.
The first time we visited the dish I got was not bad but also not amazing. But the second time we came here, the dish I got was horrible. I couldn’t finish it.
The first time we ordered the gnocchi Bolognese. And they were ok, the sauce was a bit to acidic and the meat was not very good.
The meat lasagna I got the next time I visited was disgusting. The sauce was most likely store bought (cheap). And the lasagna was probably microwaved before being served. The pasta in the lasagna was extremely overcooked, and there was almost no meat in the lasagna. The meat was also disgusting. Very low-quality meat.
My partner had spaghetti carbonara and the dish was not well prepared. The sauce was undercooked outside and overcooked (scrambled eggs) inside the huge portion of spaghetti. He let the waiter know about this and he made a huge scene, he argued with the lady chef who prepared the dish and she was also angry at him, for not serving the dish was enough when it was prepared and this was all happening right in front of all the other guests in the restaurant. It was actually very uncomfortable. The waited than came back to our table and said they will make a new portion. My partner asked for the bill and said he doesn’t need a new portion. They didn’t want to bring us the bill and instead brough another portion of badly prepared spaghetti carbonara. The dish was this time even more runny (like a soup) on the outside (it looked like the spaghetti were placed in an actual bowl of soup) and the egg was scrambled on the inside. Also, this portion tasted disgusting. It was very badly seasoned. Left a sour and bitter aftertaste.
Also, when the waiter insisted on giving my partner a new portion of spaghetti carbonara, we asked instead of a new portion of carbonara if we could get another glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, because the one we ordered was quite good, but they were unfortunately out of fresh oranges right in that moment.
Will definitely not come here again. The prices are too high for what they offer. The food is bad. And the service is not...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences dining experiences of my life here and I feel bad sharing this because our server was really trying his best to make us feel welcomed. First of all, the food looks and tasted great, at first. After half an hour of eating my pizza I started developing a small bump on my lip, sign that something in the food is not sitting well with me but I ignored it and got on with our night. The service was something I have never seen before. Servers yelling at the cooks, particularly a senior waiter was going off, throwing stuff around, banging the cash register, screaming at the cooks, throwing his glasses everywhere when it was clear that he could not see without them properly. Afterwards, another waiter starting yelling too, the lady preparing the salads was constantly stuffing food in her mouth and licking her fingers while making dishes (!!!!!!), the cook in charge of pizzas was sneezing all over them and not disinfecting his hands afterwards and our server was sneaking beer shots in the back when nobody was looking. This scenes felt like ripped out of a bad movie, I could not believe my eyes! I’m from Romania, if you would even think of doing any of this in my country, you would immediately get fired and the health inspectors would come right away. I could not wait to go back to the hotel and as soon as I did, I noticed I wasn’t feeling that well in my stomach. Today I’m writing this from the bathroom, so you can imagine the rest. I would never recommend this place, EVER! I still cannot get the image of that lady licking her fingers out of my head! The food looks and tastes amazing but what follows next is not worth...
Read moreA true and unexpected revelation of a fantastic pizza and pasta in a shopping mall. We haven't eaten such a good pizza in a long time and have to admit that in the centre of LJ (where we usually search for good pizzas in specialized pizzerias) we never got such a good pizza. And for a still reasonable 8 eur for a Margherita, which is getting rarer by the day. For our taste, this is the best pizza in years. The pizza is the hybrid style between verace and classic pizza. The verace shows in the dough used and the bigger amount of sauce used, while the classic part is the cheese type and texture, as it can be seen on the photo. The dough is on the very slightly chewy side, which we like. The cheese ravioli with pommodorini, pesto and Grana Padano were also absolutely outstanding.
The people employed are absolutely wonderful and kind in the right way and amount.
This was truly a wonderful experience.
Giving it one star less only because we just cannot get accustomed to the fact that it's part of a shopping mall and there is plenty of shopping people walking around. But still overall this is a fantastic place. Well done. We will come...
