Fantastic service! Excels all we have seen in years! Unbelievable. Why unbelievable: because you would never expect such service giving the location of this hidden jewel. And just to note, this is like one of the oldest pizzerias in these parts, which not only survived but is still going really strong and has long year customers, etc...

Definitely give it a try and look out for Tim, who will make you feel really special, and this guy should get a raise, mr. boss. My wife even went back to the car for some $ to express her gratitude. :) I'm absolutely sure other people working there are great too.

For the food, we will come back to try more things. But for the pizza, I can say it's the classic version and is mostly unchanged in the last decades - very solid and universally liked by all tastes. I have it 3 stars only because, on the other hand, my wife said that hers laid down a little heavy in the stomach. Maybe the dough was not so light for the more sensitive, but she still ate the whole piece, so it's not that bad after al, I guess... :)

For some, the outside ambience will be uninviting perhaps. And yes, it's by the road, so outside, it's really not the best on the planet. And the tables are marked with numbers etc... see photo. It gives a mass production feeling, so guys, a suggestion, remove those numbers... c'mon, do you really need them? The outside would need an expert restyling, really. An expert from somewhere far, to give a fresh perspective. But the interior, on the other hand, is very nice. If you bring a girl you want to marry, close her eyes and then open them when inside... :):)

Overall, a kudos to this place and we hope it will further...

The food we ordered was very good and portions were large, which we all appreciated at the time as we were all quite hungry.

The manager of the establishment takes hygiene seriously which is reassuring these days.

I'd give them 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for the following:

During the COVID pandemic, we all need to do our part. Serving staff at restaurants and bars are handling "dirty" tableware left behind by patrons when clearing tables, and then handling "clean" tableware when they bring your food and drinks.

I'm taking 2 stars off because some of the drinks that we were served, were placed on the table by the waiter holding the top of the glass.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not implying that this establishment is intentionally or knowingly spreading the virus, I only wish to raise AWARENESS, we are ALL in this together.

I had a wonderful experience at Pizzeria Santa Lucija in Lucija. I ordered the "Pizza of the Week," which was a Carbonara, and it was delicious. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a rich and flavorful topping that really impressed me.

What made the visit even better was the speed of the service. Despite visiting on a vacation day, the staff managed to prepare and serve the pizza extremely fast. The restaurant wasn't busy, which added to the relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable.
