Panarottis Kenilworth Centre Halaal — Restaurant in Claremont

Decided to give this branch another chance. Still an absolute waste of time. I ordered a Mediterranean which is meant to have sun-dried tomatoes. We collected the order and it was substituted with fresh tomato which I do not eat. Again, no mention of the substitution upon ordering.

I also ordered a so called gourmet Carnivore pizza, it's an absolute disgrace! Barely any meat at all!

I will NEVER support this brand again. The food is consistent for the most part. This is a Halaal branch, so be sure to check the correct menu if placing orders telephonically before you call as menu items differ.

I have had several issues where they don't have available toppings on a standard menu item, was not informed when ordering, arrived to collect and was only informed then and had to wait for the pizza to be made while there with the rest of the order getting cold on their counter.

I've also not been informed at all on one occasion regarding unavailable toppings, only to discover that substitutions were made at home. This is not acceptable as far as food allergies, averions and preferences go.

Also, the estimated time given telephonically for call and collect orders is almost NEVER accurate, so take it with a pinch of salt and give it a few extra minutes unless you want to hover while they complete your order.

If you ask for the condiments when placing your order, be prepared to wait an extra few minutes while they get it together because it's rarely ready and waiting with your meal.

The establishment is in no way bad, the food is decent but service, communication and execution from placing the order to collection can definitely be...

I'm neither a pizza nor pasta fan, but a friend suggested Panarottis. She drives a hard bargain and she was paying, so off we went. The shop is nice and spacious, with a camera that monitors the play area and the open floor layout adds a level of transparency that makes you trust the restaurant more - you can see the kitchen, where the staff are and what is being discussed. We had a great server - Taine, who was very helpful with food suggestions and made sure I got the coffee just the way I like it.

We ordered the Chicken Supreme sub (the halaal option has pressed beef instead of ham) and the Chicken Milano pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tossed into a rich and creamy cheese sauce; the peppers added texture and colour as well. The sub was lightly toasted, the chicken was well cooked and the cheese was a great addition. The food was exceptionally seasoned, although they do have condiments and all on the table, and we'll prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal: it was big on taste and flavour! I'm so happy with everything that I'm planning on taking someone there as soon as I get the chance. Heard the milkshakes are great as well. The food items around the restaurant gives it a Mom-and-Pop style diner feel. Or live you've traveled back in time to some store.

I had a rather lack lustre experience visiting this establishment. We were quickly seated and attended to by a friendly waitress who took our orders. The restaurant despite being indoors was very cold inside. While we waited my son went to the play area, however we needed to check in with him as we could not see directly into the play place. The food arrived within a reasonable time. I found the rib pizza to be under seasoned and did not enjoy it. The 3 cheese bread was okay - nothing to rave about. The peppermint dessert was an absolute disappointment and the ice cream served with it had large flat ice bits which I initially thought was broken glass-thankfully it wasn't. When it was time to pay the waitress then informs us that the card machine is broken and we need to use cash... The mall was already quiet as all the other shops had closed and I was expected to leave my family and go to the ground floor to draw money or pay additional bank charges using 1 of the other banks atm's - which I found absolutely ridiculous. Eventually with much insistence from hubby and I they brought out 2 more card machines 1 of which worked. Definitely not going to...
