Wimpy — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

We were a group of 12 . The waitron refused that we join tables so we can be together. We placed orders and it took ages for us to get our order. Part of what we ordered was frozen lemonade which looked like granadilla from the menu we were given. On the menu it is garnished with mint and lemon. The actual ones that we were served had no garnishing at all. A very boring presentation. The lemonade was so diluted with the ice that the taste was not satisfactory. We complained to another waitron because the one who served was not visible to us. Her response was that we must complain to the manager or supervisor who was at the floor, she did not bother to respond to our complaint. After a long wait a white male came to our table to collect a bill that was left by one of the so-called waitrons. He did not greet but grabbed the bill without saying a word. I held on the bill because not everyone had paid at that time, we were still collecting money to pay. He left the table without saying a word but his silence was very loud as displayed by his body language. We felt unwelcome and disrespected. We decided to go to the cashier at the front desk to pay and leave. We complained about our experience in their restaurant. He didn't bother to apologize or explain anything instead told me she wasn't the manager. The staff is rude, unprofessional and lack hospitality. I will NEVER go...

We had went to this establishment and ordered our food my daughter ordered a strawberry smoothie if I’m not mistaken but it was a drink similar to that they instead gave us a smoothie that was fully iced and the strawberry’s were weird as if they were old it was sour and overly just bad we were expecting a smoothie that was made with milk not ice and water we then kindly called our server she then communicated with us that she can’t really do something about it so she will call her manager her manager come and her whole argument was that in the menu it never said it was milk based then I talked to her at normal human tone and not shouting that it also says that it doesn’t say it water based if it had said that I wouldn’t have ordered it she then started yelling which was very rude and unprofessional of her she then took the drink spilled it on the table but like a little bit because she picked the glass up with so much anger and stormed off saying she would take it off the bill she never came back to ask if we wanted to change it to another drink and when we went to pay we went to directly to the manager but literally locked eyes and then walked away and our fantastic sever said don’t mind her she was literally making up for someone else’s fault so we tipped her well I hope you never have an encounter with that horrible manager I would...

Used to be one of my favourite Wimpys in East London either than beachfront Wimpy. But service at Beacon branch has deteriorated, you walk in and take your own menu , seat yourself down. Wait another 10minutes for a waiter to notice you or give you attention (most of the time you will have to wave your hands to get a response). On this particular Sunday the lady got my order completely incorrect, 1 simple golden waitressing rule " REPEAT THE ORDER " to your table before you go enter it into the system. Manageress on duty sorted my dissatisfaction out with no issues, said the owner would like to c9me speak to me as well. He didn't, I waited and instead he ran off to the back office.
