We visited Nando’s in Preller Square on two separate occasions hoping for a great meal, but the experience was disappointing. The service was unacceptably slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We had to wait ages for our order, and when it finally arrived, part of it was wrong, and the food was lukewarm at best.
The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful when we asked for assistance. Both occasions were on a Friday night and they did not have enough chicken and pita's in stock. The staff simply ignored the patrons and did not even bother to inform us that they were out of stock. It seemed as if the team was either poorly trained or simply didn’t care about customer experience.
We had requested extra sauce for our meals but unfortunately, it never arrived. The chicken ended up dry and burnt.
I hope they improve attention to detail in the future, as a simple request like extra sauce should be easy to handle.
Overall, the service was far from what I’ve come to expect from Nando’s. I hope they address these issues because the food quality alone can’t make up for the poor service. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this location until...

The manager answered and said he would check. After checking, he confirmed that the chips were still at the store and suggested that I come in to pick them up.
I went to the store the next day and spoke to the same manager. Since the store wasn’t open yet, I asked if I could instead get a refund, as I was already there. However, he gave me attitude and told me I’d have to wait. I asked him if it was somehow my fault that they forgot to pack my chips, but he didn’t seem to care.
Their food is great, but the customer service is terrible. Honestly, I felt like if I were of another race, he wouldn’t have hesitated to refund me. I ended up leaving because it was too early in the morning to deal with that kind of stress. That manager and his staff really need customer...
