We ate burgers, myself ate a wagyu burger and my wife and her sister ate the fab burgers. They complained the burger is smelling off and is tasting bad. We called the waiter whereby he confirmed something is not smelling right, he took it back to the kicthen. The waiter came back to apologize and asked if they wanted to order something else, we the asked him what the chef and the manager said whereby he said they confirmed nothing smells off. Take note the manager did not show is face at all as he was in the kitchen the whole time. After a while I went inside and asked for the chef and the manager, only the chef came out and kept on saying there is nothing wrong with the burgers, I asked him to please bring me the burgers and eat it in front of me and he indicated they threw the burgers away.(First indication of something wrong) the manager then appeared from the kitchen behind the bar and I asked him to bring me the burgers and he dissappear into the kitchen, after a while he came back and advised they threw it away and he also smelled nothing wrong. I called the waiter and he confirmed again something did not smell correct. Keep in mind the manager kept hiding, we then proceeded to finish our drinks and he suddenly appeared at the other tables and kept talking with them while dodging our table. We ordered ribye steaks and requested the saltblock option as that was the reason we came. We never saw the salt blocks, although the steaks were cooked perfectly. The waiter seems to have had a larger bay than what he could handle as although he was friendly, we didn't see much of him. We expected chips with our spinach on our plates, but it seems we misread the menu and only got steak, a bowl of average creamed spinach and a bit of mushroom sause that taste like quick packet sauce powders mixed with hot water.
The platters had elements of excellence. Jalapeño poppers were some of the best we had as well as tge cheese sticks. The onion rings were mhe. Their meat is very fresh, and the ribs were tender. I noticed a sauce, seems like a house sauce it tasted really good and went well with the steak. Had one of the best garlic sauce with the prawns, very few get it right. The salad also went well with the ribs, it had a nice tangy flavour. The service was good and prompt, the waiter did well. We didn't have to wait long for anything.
