The kitchen was slow tonight, I ordered the Spicy Fierce Crispy Chicken, got given a whopper instead (only discovered this when I got home) . The guy that took my order had to leave the window to get my food. He really tried and we had a conversation about, how people that work in teams need to pull their weight. I got home after two bites I realized my order was incorrect. Really didn't have the energy to drive back. I drove out specifically for the Spicy Chicken burger from BK. Somebody needs a fire lit under their @55. The guy at the window gets an A for effort, had everybody else been doing their jobs. My order wouldn't have been stuffed up. Cars where queueing longer than usual, the guy in front of me got his order before the car in front of him, he literally drove around the guy and left. Pull the footage see for yourself. Pathetic I will rather drive to Malanshof moving forward.
Wow, a full year later and one would think the kitchen staff would be on point. Was at them a few days back and they were closed due to loadshedding. Can't fault them for that. So lissed for BK today and decided let me go through, everyone deserves second chances right? WORST decision I made today. Waited forever for my order. Had to put up a fuss to get my order. Once I received my wife and I decided to tuck in, only to find her order was not the crispy chicken burger but a double whopper. The thing is there were a few other customers who I noticed that were disgruntled for some order mishap or the other. There is no operational direction in this establishment. The owner doesn't appear to be hands on with this Franchise, sadly enough. The staff did apologize profusely, I was so annoyed I didn't even finish my meal. I have been fortunate enough to frequent BK's, across the length and breadth of our beautiful country. This particular one unfortunately is the worst one. It's the only halal one close to me sadly enough. I'm going to have to find an alternative to Jozi. Just throwing my two cents...
Read moreI went to this Burger King branch yesterday and had such a wonderful experience. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Tholofelo and Nathalia gave us such awesome service! Thank you so much ladies ♡ and it’s not the 1st time I’ve had great service at this branch. Plus it’s halaal which is such a perfect bonus. Please don’t ever change to non halaal we will have no where to go to get halaal tasty affordable food! Thank you for this branch and the wonderful staff. 🤩
Edit - unfortunately today I’m quite disappointed in the service received today. As I’ve said before I constantly use this branch and have always gotten amazing service, but not tonight.
1st it took 40 minutes for our food to be ready only after going to the counter and stating that it’s taking long.
2nd. My boyfriends bun of his extra long chili cheese was stale. Which is absolutely discussing.
The thing that’s bothering me the most, is that it seems like they put the Uber eats drivers as a priority. That’s ridiculous, have a certain staff member ready for those specific orders.
The wonderful ladies that helped us previously were not there tonight I feel like they could teach these other staff members a thing or two.
There were so many people that Came in waiting to order and we’re not attended to, instead they walked out as they weren’t even acknowledged.

On our second order we waited over an hour to get through the drive through when whe got our food we had to wait 5/10 minutes for the drinks alone and thus the food was cold when it was time to eat it. Today again we waited about 20 minutes for our food and there was only 1 or 2 people in the drive through with us, after receiving the food we again waited 5/10 minutes for the drinks alone. The person at the last window was telling us to stop before the window so the customer timer would not start. This branch on numerous occasions has displayed lack of management, training and customer care as they don't even apologise for the delays. I would highly recommend you skip this burger King and go to another drive through.
After talking to the manager she stated they cannot guarantee better service but they hope for my sake it will get better. Butger king should definitely train their staff before opening...
