What is there to say? Simply Asia is a true taste of Asian food. A true, delicious experience all around. Whether you're in the mood for hot tendori, tempura, or simply in the mood for sushi, they have you covered. The nice combination of choosing between traditional rice or noodles adds a nice touch. You can try your luck with chopsticks or just fall back to the familiar fork. The price does compliment the skill and food quality, though, so it's not a very cheap dining experience, so be forewarned and prepared with ones wallet. But if you are drooling for a taste of Asia with quality to match, then this is a place to choose. There might be cheaper choices out there, but you know what they say, the price reflects the skill and quality, and I can vouch for that as I've tried many Asian restaurants and cheaper usually has a massive drawback. OMG...I was shocked when the sushi was served. It was half the size as I what we're used to at other Simply Asias. We immediately told the waitress Ntombi that it was too small and my husband said to her that we won't be coming to this one again. She proceeded to shout across the tiny establishment to the sushi chef that it was too small and that we won't be coming back...for every single patron to hear. I think she thought for a moment that she was standing in her kitchen... at her house. I was now in complete shock at her unprofessionalism. The manager Orwin apologised on her behalf and offered us another portion of sushi on the house. Considering we were given only "half" portions in the first place we should have been offered 4 more portions. I feel so disappointed seeing as this establishment is the closest Simply Asia to our new home and that we eat sushi at least once a week. Simply Asia Northcliff... you need to desperately learn how to match the sushi size to other Simply Asias. At the moment you should rightfully be charging "half price sushi"...
