ATE HERE ON THE 30TH SEPTEMBER 2023 AT 12:20PM
●Restaurant decor looked modern and beautiful,the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and had a good vibe to it.
●Service was great,waiters/staff were very welcoming,our Waiter kept on checking on us and always asked if we were fine,one of the best services I've had.
●The drinks were delicious and looked beautiful,I didn't expect those tall glasses but it made it even more epic.
■THE FOLLOWING FOOD WAS ORDERED TO TRY■
●CHEESY LANGO TAILS - LANGO TAILS SAUTEED IN A CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE WHICH IS TOPPED WITH CHEDDAR AND OVER BAKED. (Reminded me of the snails i would have at other places,really great flavour,the lango tails were cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection,the creamy garlic sauce wasnt too thick and just the right consistancy and the cheddar had a nice crust to it)
●CHOURICO SAUSAGE - A FULL FLAVOURED PORTUGUESE SAUSAGE WHICH IS FLAMBEED TABLE SIDE. (Had a great flavour to it,flambeed table side and cut up,was great with the rolls it came with as well)
●TOMAHAWK 600G STEAK - BONE IN,DRY AGED RIBEYE STEAK. (Requested blue which is a good sear on each end,the tomahawk melts in your mouth,great flavour and was seasoned to perfection,the chimichurri was also very tasty as well the marrow bone compound butter,i reccomend this steak for every steak lover out there,the mash was creamy and had no lumps at all,a perfect steak)
●JALAPENO FILLET - CHARGRILLED 250G FILLET STUFFED WITH JALAPENO PEPPERS AND CHEDDAR,WRAPPED IN BACON AND TOPPED WITH JALAPENO BUTTER. (Medium rare requested and it came at that temperature, steak was seasoned perfectly and was absolutely delicious,the jalapeno butter added some great flavour as well,the chips were cooked perfectly as well.)
●FLAMING CHERRIES - PITTED BLACK CHERRIES FLAMBEED AT TABLE SIDE. (Great addition to have it flambeed at table side,the cherries had a great taste to it and went perfectly with the ice cream served)

Recently, we gathered at Butcher Boys Meyersdal to celebrate a special birthday, and what an fantastic dining experience it turned out to be! 🎉🍽️
For starters, I indulged in my go-to Halloumi Cheese, a dish I order almost everywhere. It was beautifully paired with a Sweet Chilli Sauce. ✨️ Another starter that stole the show was the Cheesy Lango Tails – even as a seafood skeptic, I couldn't resist a bite. Sautéed in a creamy garlic sauce and topped with cheddar, it was a delightful surprise! 🧀🍤
When it came to mains, the Saucy Burger stole the spotlight for me. It's not an exaggeration to say it's the best burger I've ever had and will have it again next time. A Plain & Simple burger elevated by your choice of sauce – I went for the flavorful Monkey Gland Sauce. 🍔🍴
Butcher Boys also offers a selection of dry and wet-aged steaks, reasonably priced and absolutely divine. The steak was perfectly prepared to preference, and I can safely say this is the top place for an extraordinary steak. 🥩
While we didn't stay for dessert this time, the options looked tempting, and I'm already anticipating the sweet indulgence on our next visit. 🍰
If there's one suggestion for improvement, it would be to expand the variety of beers on tap and cocktails. Currently, there are only two on tap, and a broader selection would add another layer to the dining experience. 🍻🍹
But overall, Butcher Boys Meyersdal left us impressed with its impeccable service, remarkable dishes, and a warm ambiance perfect for celebrations. It's a culinary haven that promises delightful moments and flavors that linger long after you leave. 🌟🎂

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between casual and elegant warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a lively yet relaxed vibe that immediately made me feel welcome.
I decided to go with the tenderloin steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The cut was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the natural quality of the meat. It was clear that the chef put genuine care into the preparation, every bite melted in my mouth. To elevate the meal, I paired it with a bottle of Syrah wine, which complemented the steak beautifully. The wine had a rich body with smooth tannins and just the right amount of spice, balancing the savory notes of the steak perfectly.
The service was another highlight. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to ensure everything was to my liking. My server even recommended the Syrah pairing, which turned out to be a spot-on suggestion.
