We saw the advertisement for this establishment on social media so we decided to give it a try. Firstly we couldn’t find the place as they have since moved premises but the old signage was still on the old spot. We did however find the new spot, it looks clean and neat. We placed our prefer for takeaway at the counter and the food took a very long time to arrive considering that we were the only customers in the store. The beans bunny tastes nice but it was definitely not worth the eye watering price of R185 for a quarter loaf. The toasted chip and cheese sandwich cost us R65. I’m assuming that takeaway prices (uber eats etc.) are higher but we picked up the food from the store ourselves. I will not be revisiting as the pricing is overly high and i am not going to pay those prices for vegetable meals!!

I am actually shocked at what we paid and what we got. R130 for Meduim Butter Chicken and Rice. And we literally got this was a small foil container with 5 piece of cubed chicken, thats liiterally x1 piece of breast chicken and a portion of rice (Please see photos below) when i contacted them they told me its roughly 5 or 6 pieces of chicken and gravy with a portion of rice, and they never have complaints. I mean, really, for R130, this is not worth it. Its day light robbery for 1 piece of breast and gravy and rice. It's a strike in my books for sure whether you had no complaints or not as they say, well i am the first i suppose.

Have to admit, service was EXTREMELY disappointing 😞, wow! Food was average. Had a sugar beams bunny, bread was cold, no salads. Burger pattt was overdone. Manager argued with me, name was Bridgette, because she had deliveries coming in that need to take precedent over a customer. If you purchased a Hyperli voucher, be sure to print it otherwise you have to make plans with the owner Usha to send it over WhatsApp Overall experience was disappointing, was really looking toward to a good meal and eating experience. I live in the area but will definitely not be going back...

An unfortunate disappointment for Indian cuisine. I decided to try the lamb on the bone with rice, but unfortunately, the overwhelming taste of turmeric overshadowed the dish. Surprisingly, they even added turmeric to the rice, which was unexpected. I specifically requested extra coriander leaves and sliced onions, but to my dismay, there were no coriander present in the dish at all and I did not get my onions either, I instead got shredded carrots, who eats shredded carrots with curry?! I would have much settled for sliced carrots. While the lamb itself was tender, the unpleasant odor of unclean meat was revolting. The curry was thin and had no consistency whatsoever, a rather brown oily soup. The portion for the price was disappointing also. To serve a dish like this in a place like Johannesburg, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. 100% NOT...

I am still reveling in the flavor explosion that Cira Nahte's savory platter delivered! The assortment of goodies - crispy samoosas, flavorful puri patha, spicy chilli bites, and delicious vedas - was a masterclass in texture and taste. Each item was expertly prepared, presented, and packed with love. The platter was a true masterpiece, and I couldn't get enough of it!

Usha's attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through in every bite. The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and utterly delicious.

If you're looking for a snack or appetizer that will impress your family, friends, or colleagues, look no further than Cira Nahte's savory platter. It's a game-changer!

Thank you, Usha, for sharing your culinary talents with the world. I can't wait to...
