This hotel is adequate for an overnight stay near the airport. Free shuttle departs on the hour to the airport. The hotel grounds are beautiful at night. The manager, the porters, and the restaurant staff couldn't be more helpful. The aircon was cold and the water was hot. ||||The food from the restaurant was okay. I ate outside because the restaurant was hot and stuffy.||||However, the "high speed wifi" promised at the airport went up and down the whole time. It was impossible to get any work done. It was so bad that the reception had a hard time printing receipts at check-out time. I was also told the hotel was in an area with restaurants, shops. There is nothing around. But If you ask to be taken in the shuttle to the restaurants, the receptionist lets you know, "We will charge you."||||They advertise a spa but when I tried to make an appointment, I was told the cosmetologist was busy with the children. ||||The room was nice but the curtains would not close, thereby inviting the sun into my room at...

Read moreI had a 12 hour layover in Johannesburg International Airport and I was not about tonsit on the bench there for twelve hours. So I asked around and that was the least expensive place to stay overnight at the last moment. So I booked it with reluctantcy. It was definitely not five star bit beggers can't be choosers. The room was ok and I had to turn the toilet valve on and off because it would keep running. And the young girl who was the desk receptionist slash cook was very nice but a but forward to ask me if I was going to tip her at the beginning of the meal. It reminded me that I was back in Africa. All that aside I was desperate and was not unhappy with the service and the incredible courtesy. That the entire staff gave me. In conclusion if I am in that same predicament I would stay there. Also the staff went all out to make stay a...
