On the 29th of March I ordered on the Debonairs website around 19:00 and paid online, I then waited for my order as per usual but hours passed without my order being delivered. I then called the shop just to find out how far my delivery was because I understood that it’s month end and deliveries do take time, I spoke to the lady/consultant on the phone and she was rude and too busy to give me her undivided attention, she was quick to tell me that “it’s month end and the orders are too much” and then she instantly referred me to the store manger without me asking to speak to the manager. The store manger then told me that the order was supposed to be delivered 5 minutes ago and I told him that no order of mine has been delivered, he then offered to re-order what I ordered and have it delivered and he’ll track the driver himself, i gave him another hour but still the order didn’t come. Instead, I received an SMS that the order has arrived but I had no box in my hand.
I then called to reverse my order and he offered to give me complimentary products for the next day as an apology but I refused and I insisted on reversing my order and taking my money back. He then advised that it’ll take up to 7 days for the money to reflect on my account but today is the 15th day and still my money hasn’t reflected. I was contacted by one of the workers from Debonairs on the 10th of April and he then told me he’ll deal with it and I should give him 24-48hrs, still my money hasn’t reflected.
Your service at Maponya Mall is just below par especially when it comes to deliveries and your incompetent drivers. Your workers too at the store are not so welcoming and they always have attitude towards their customers. Please do work on how your employees present themselves and the image of...

I am utterly disgusted with these people's service, on 22/12/2018 my husband ordered a pizza via the mobile app and it was never delivered. He tried to engage with them via the app, no joy. The fast food in question (Maponya Mall) never answers their phone. We complained on twitter and only got a response, on the 27th case 549363 was opened. That was the end of it. We still had neither the pizza nor a refund. Started phoning their customer service and they would always promise to get someone to give us a call which never happened and eventually on 12th January they contacted us to ask if we still want the pizza (seriously?) or if we wanted a refund and we opted to collect our refund at a store and that was it. No apology or something small to say we are sorry for the inconvenience, they literally just gave us R130 and when we asked the manager at the store he said he was only told to give us the money and nothing else. We actually incurred data costs, call charges and transport costs to get to this point with them and debonairs has nothing to say about this. Truly one of the worst experiences ever, no regard for customers whatsoever.
In principle when you have wronged your customer you admit to be wrong , investigate on what actually happened then feedback to the client and apologise but Debonairs just doesn't care, it feels like they say "ok the customer bought something and didn't get it, just give them their money back" no consequence, no empathy and no apology or token thereof.

Debonairs maponya delivery guy.
This guy was so rude. First of all he arrived after an hour I placed my order. Sends me call back messages just when I thought they were not even coming to deliver. Hoots like crazy y outside the gate and when I got there asks me "didn't I see call back messages? While frowning " really?. I couldn't even answer back to the question. I don't know if maybe he saw a child when I came. Banged the scooter case after I took the pizza and left. You don't need to say any words to be disrespectful. I was expecting an apology after waiting so long but instead the feedback from this guy made it seem like I was the one who was supposed to Apologies.
Please work on this. I know service delivery immediately changes when you guys are serving at the townships but this is just too much. The meal wasn't even tasty...
