We had a terrible experience with the manager on duty.
We called to enquire as to why our pizza had not been delivered yet and was met with a slightly hostile manager. She had said that after repeated calls and no answers, the driver was recalled to the restaurant. She then demanded that we come collect immediately as she was closing the restaurant by 19h30 and was alone.
No other apology was offered nor asked me if we received the call nor even checked to see if the number they had was correct. She did not offer any reason as to why she could not assist by sending the pizza again or offer any alternative. She simply told us to come collect or get a refund.
As a member of the hospitality industry, I find this behaviour counter intuitive to good customer service and worry that a in a managers role she is setting the wrong impression to her employees.

Read morePathetic! 1.5km from the store. Placed an order for delivery and got the food after 1 hour and 10 minutes. Took over 30 minutes for the guy to deliver to us and I could track him.
Eventually received our cold, squashed pizza (pizza boxes were wet) and the driver wouldn't even give me my food due to me lambasting him. Had to literally force it out of his bag myself.
Arrogant driver and what did the people on the other side of the phone do? Absolutely nothing! After 5 minutes of holding for a manager, I put the phone down.
They don't want repeat business (I've been using them for 7 years), so be it.
