I suspect the food served was not freshly prepared and could be day(s) old. the coleslaw looks dead, the rice overcooked - might have been reheated many times. I am a pregnant woman and negligence of food hygiene and correct preparation methods is extremely hazardous to my health. And I state this confidently as a qualified chef. I also ordered what appeared on the menu as a "calamari bowl" only to receive stale lettuce as an excuse for what appears to be an attempt at a salad. We called the establishment and all they could offer was a "sorry". No one in their right mind would pay R70 for stale lettuce. I could make a better salad at home. I was under the impression that R70 was for a bowl of CALAMARI, as advertised. The overall experience of the food was so disgusting that we had to throw the food in the trash. I am also disappointed by the packaging as that is not original Fishaways packaging. The foam packaging broke in half before I could even sit down to eat. If I wanted to order from a spaza I would have. The price we pay for this food is inclusive of branded packaging. Please do something about this. I have wasted my money and I'm still hungry.

Absolute Rip off Paid R87.00 for this Calamari Prawn and Hake Box 5 shrivelled pieces of Calamari, old oily prawns that had dried out would not recommend this place as the displays and actual food are worlds apart. The Cashier Nigel was Brilliant effiecient and friendly the only upside to this Dissapointing ordeal

We haven't purchased from this branch for years yet shop at the Spar next door. It is due to food quality from previous purchases.

We bought a short while ago and yet again, the Box of food was over-fried and over-spiced. There was a funky aftertaste with the squigglies, which appeared a few minutes after a bite.

My wife orders the Calamari wrap, she might as well have just ordered a salad wrap, not much meat inside in comparison to the other branches we normally buy from.

Our opinion was Yuck, never going back there again. If one of us gets food poisoning, we will pay the owners a...

Great website and online order system, but we have ordered a delivery and over an hour later we call to find out why it hasn't arrived, and are told that the driver hadn't even arrived to pick it up from the store yet!

Then over 2 hours later, still hasn't arrived..

Taking a brief look at other reviews and it appears that I'm not the only one experiencing shockingly slow service. Apparently it's this particular branch.

We will not order from here again unfortunately, I like the food, but it seems like this branch is badly understaffed or something...
