I usually come here because it is close to my place. The food is good no doubt, but this time around the service was really terrible. We ordered 3 dishes and we were only 3-5 tables at the restaurant. The waiter repeated our order. 2 dishes came and the waiter was no where to be found. When he came around to ask how is everything, we said we are waiting on our pasta dish. He looked confused. He disappeared again for a whole 20 mins. He brought the last dish when we were done eating everything. By this time he did not even apologize for the delay. I asked him what happened and he said he forgot with no remorse of delivering bad service. I mentioned that I would need to speak to his manager about the issue and then he changed his demeanor completely and came back around to apologize. I asked him what he can do to make this better and I mentioned that he could comp that dish because we did not get to enjoy it. He called the manager around and the manager came by to ask and I told her what had happened. She apologized and did not rectify the waiter's mistake. I was charged full price for a dish that was delivered when the whole table was done eating in a restaurant that was not busy at all. All the waiter's were hiding by the bar, giggling with each other. It did not look good at all. So in all, I'm not coming back again and if you are looking for an exceptional service the. I urge you to try...

First Of All... Im never visiting this branch again. I used to love this place and so we chose to host my boyfriends birthday lunch here...

We had two kids on the table but the waiter chose to give us all the standard menu and when we had to place the order and we were a bit unsure as there's nothing specifically enticing for kids, they asked if they should bring a kids menu. I'm talking about a 2 year old and an 8 year old. We placed our order and the drinks took time... Not sure why, our order came and I asked why we have not received the chilli and garlic condiments, the waiter said I had to ask for them. I asked since when? She was so rude. Then I ordered the seafood pasta and it had watered down tomato sauce. The mussels didn't look fresh, the food was just poor. The chimichuri is on the menu but somehow did not make it to the place. I had to ask if our waiter was still new and she said no, why on earth would I think so. You order. Medium steak only to get well done. We did not order desert. They used to get cakes from Chateaux Gateaux and what we saw was far from what we expected. My boyfriends dad ordered ginger and lemon tea, they o ly had ginger and no lemon. Failed to even mention it and said "did you only notice now".

it’s not located in a prominent place in the shopping center. off to the side sort of forgotten. Construction is going on giving it an even worst curb appeal. Small cafe with lots of road noise if sit outside. Thabani greeted. it was ok. then sat where i like.. menus for breakfast AND lunch were placed and he left for a bit. it is 10AM. A deshuffled with bed hair & shirt wrinkled mlungu came over to check on me. Finally after some time, Thabani came back to take order. Ordered my vegan usual. -Thai Summer Curry- The juices are just cordial mostly so i left and popped into Woolies and other shops nearby for some 100% Orange Juice. I came back 29 minutes later to a greeting from Thabani also saying would check on food. There is where sat waiting for this dish, just vegetables and potatoes, for another 45 minutes. No one ever came over to apologize for wait or inform what was taking that long. Once eaten, I had to ask for my check from the bartender behind me who was also the one to clear the dishes away... Thabani did however bring the bill and collect the cash ;; a R5 tip just because i didnt have change.

The service and food deserved no tip other than these words… DO...
