Fireman's Tavern — Restaurant in Gauteng

Fireman's Tavern Pub and Grill has moved to an exciting new premisses in Terrace Road, Sebenza. While it is unfortunate to have said goodbye to the lovely premises they had in Modderfontein, Covid and Life had other plans.

The new premisses promises to have great character dedicated to the life and culture of a Firefighter, a definite MUST see for any fan or firefighter.

The new venue will also have a fresh no focus on Live Music, as it always has supported local music, with a new and improved stage and sound setup.

Keep your eyes peeled for the official opening of this great venue, set to rock the foundations of Edenvale with great food, great people, great atmosphere and certainly great live music.

We just had Easter Sunday lunch at the Fireman's Tavern. Our waitress was excellent and did her best to try and accommodate us. Our family made a booking for a table for 7 in advance.

When we arrived, the table was surrounded by smokers. Not being smokers and having a 7 week old baby we moved to a second table, which was little better, then to a third and eventually a fourth table outside and away from the main seating area. Then people sat in the table next to us (outside) and started smoking.

There was no designated space for non smokers. This was really disappointing.

If you like smoking then this is the place to go. If not, I would advise that you look somewhere else. The food was good but the smoking experience ruined...

This is a great stop for anybody keen for a pint in a relaxed setting with the option to catch some live music or the local game on the telly.

Once a month an old rig is set alight (last Sunday on eacg month) and this attracts a great crowd.

The establishment is family-owned and I've never had a problem with service or security here.

Its a general relaxed vibe. Everybody knows their place. It's a frequent stop for many bikers and biker gangs alike.

If you're looking for an inexpensive option to stop off somewhere for a drink and bite to eat I highly recommend this place.
