What an absolutely superb Authentic Portuguese Restaurant A-Z. This is now the 7th time that Myself, My Wife and our Friends have dined here. The food is nothing less than spectacular, the portion sizes are extremely generous, the taste of the food is phenomenal, the service is excellent, the quality of the Chef/s in that kitchen is second to none. He / they cook pasta like an Italian Chef/s, he / they cook Portuguese food as is it would be served in Portugal itself, so well presented and an absolutely exquisite taste. The Ownership, Management & All Staff of Peri Peri Edenglen have really outdone and outclassed many Portuguese restaurants. The atmosphere is so terrific that it feels like home. They are not only consistent with their food but also leaps and bounds ahead of most in terms of presentation and quality. Anyone will very quickly be able to see that they take pride in everything that they setout to do. O Peri Peri is a Portuguese restaurant and as their name suggests, their Peri-Peri sauce is am-azing. You can buy bottles of it, we took 3 home. Their menu is extensive if not a little strange. It mixes Italian with Portuguese, so you can order a pizza or pasta. I guess this provides more options for people with less adventurous palates. The ambience was chilled, I imagine it gets vibey when full but the restaurant was only starting to fill up when we left. The decor is typically Portuguese, maybe a bit on the low budget side, usually this means all the love goes into the food. The service was good and our waitress was attentive. We shared a combo starter of calamari, chourico, moelas and trinchado. The Moelas were buttery soft as was the trinchado, but the sauces were pretty average. It was a large portion and after devouring it, we had no room for the main course. Next time, I definitely want to try their peri-peri chicken. If you are in the area def go check it out but for me, it's not one of those restaurants that have such delicious food that I'd travel...

In the 15 years I have been eating at O Peri Peri, I have never had a meal that was anything other than top class! It doesn’t matter what you order from the menu, you are guaranteed to be impressed. From a simple prego and chips to prawns,calamari,chicken and even ribs and pizza. There is something for everyone to order.

The service is also on point, Chris and Robbie are often bouncing around between the tables and the kitchen to make sure that the ship is running smoothly the front of house team at the take away counter are always friendly even if they are in the middle of a rush hour and the waitresses are effortlessly efficient even when at capacity.

Pizzas from this place and Netflix have become a Friday night standard for my wife and I.
