Have been getting food from here for years and it was always great. Never minded waiting long. Unfortunately, the standard has gone down and seeing my last 2 experiences have been less than satisfactory, so I no longer reccomend this restaurant. The prices have increased but the quality has decreased. For one of my last orders they just replaced Bok Choy with cabbage. Didn't even communicate it with me. Only found out when I got home. The pork was not braised in a sauce (like it usually is) and had no taste. I phoned in and told the manager and he told the owner. No offer to replace the order that I paid for and did not get, was only offered more Bok Choy and a better prepared meal next time (which I had to pay for). This time there was Bok Choy but the pork still had no taste. If I pay for coffee but I get cold tea should I pay to replace the tea with coffee? Our first unhappy experience tonight lies in the fact that the sweet and sour beef, when ordered on Ubereats, offers sauce and other extras at additional charges of R12.00 each. We had already paid that for noodles, rather than rice, so we declined what we thought was “extra”sauce.
When it arrived the food had been cooked in the sauce but any sauce remaining was gone - leaving the dish without its signature sauce- which we thought was rather poor show….. Ie. Read moreWalked in and tried to order from the counter. The employee in the orange shirt was engaged in a really loud conversation with another customer who seemed to be his friend. The lady in blue behind the counter was unable to hear because they were screaming so loudly, that she had to ask four times for my order. When I asked the employee and his friend to be quiet so I could order, the friend started screaming at me. Neither of the employees said anything, so I left because I wasn't about to be verbally abused in the store. You can check the incident on your stores security cameras at about 18:45 on the day of this review.
