McDonald's Wonderpark — Restaurant in Gauteng

It’s school holidays and thought to spoil the kids with afternoon at McDonalds where we could enjoy lunch and the kids can play. On arrival we realise the play area is not operational, the kids were disappointed but still keen on lunch. The traditional counter ordering has been discontinued so we had to order via a kiosk which wasn’t an issue until we couldn’t order what we wanted because it’s only available on the app and not via the kiosk. We choose something else, our number was displayed 10min after that our food was ready to be collected. When I went to collect, the food was not ready and we waited and only got our food 20min AFTER the initial call that food was ready. When the food came, a burger was missing so we had to wait a few more minutes. Also they no longer give lids on Coldrinks lol. The bathrooms are access controlled with a code which is nice for safety, but there’s hardly anyone by the bathroom so you have to keep scouting for someone to assist so you can access. We went there to get the collectors cup. We ordered 3 big mac's each of them we tried to scan the code but it only went through for one of the big mac's and the app and screen said that the offer will be applied to all 3 of the meals. When we got to the counter to collect our meals they lady at the store refused to give us all 3 of the cups, she started yelling and talking bad about us to her colleagues in a language we don't understand. We told her if she won't give us the cups we want a refund and she said okay. We got to the counter and then she said 'Oh no we don't have enough cash to give you a refund.' We payed the while order in cash, and no one else payed after us. She then refused to give us our slip back so we just left. All we wanted was our cups but she refused. I recently had a disappointing experience at a McDonald's drive-thru. The customer service representative informed me that app offers could only be redeemed once per visit, and if I wished to redeem more than once, I would need to go inside the restaurant. This struck me as inconvenient, especially since I was later told by a manager that this is the standard procedure, despite my explanation that no other McDonald's location I have visited has such a restriction.

Furthermore, when I received my order at the window, the quality of the food was unsatisfactory. The fries tasted stale and dry, and the chicken nuggets were cold. Overall, both the customer service and the food quality fell short of expectations, resulting in a disappointing visit.
