For Authentic and Interesting Chinese food that can cater for the Traditional Celebrations of the New Year, Birthdays, and general Family (or Friends) get togethers, this is definitely a place to try.

Admittedly, not much can be said about how it looks (from outside decor to the inside arrangement) but it still manages to give you a rather cosy experience, if you're into that whole touching shoulders with other custodians thing. If your not... maybe try another place.

The food is good (I've taken a liking to the sweet and sour pork, Garlic drizzled Pak Choi and... well many other things😅).

However, even i must admit that sometimes being adventurous can be awkward tasting🤔 (enter fish gut soup - the mushrooms it comes with are awesome though).

A bit of advice to a newbie; if you can't identify it, nor can you say it - Try it once and decide whether you like or not (you'll be surprised how many things you fall in love with)... But under NO circumstance ask what it is or for an explanation of how it came to be...just don't, you'll enjoy your shared meal far...

Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I've lived in China for six years and love their nations food very much thus, their food falls one star short of authenticity, but is still great tasting and I can't help but feel like I'm somewhere in Mainland China when I'm sat there.. This place is a gem, it's about as close you get to cheap and cheerful in the Mainland and their Chinese vibe is apparent. Their food servings are generous and many plates may be shared among a table (we had a table of 10). They have beers and whiskeys available and a few other liquors, However for a corkage, you may bring your own alcohol, ask the staff. our Bill was R1600. Including tip for all ten mouths, drinks bought included too. So definitely affordable place to eat. Overall, highly satisfied with the place and will definitely be back when I miss...

Great variety on the menu 100's of dishes to choose from, be sure to try the Ginseng Shot! A real icebreaker and Tsingtao beer goes well with any Chinese dish, the fresh chillies always get me thirsty. Outside smokers tables, pleasant staff and atmosphere in Little China. Cozy well supported place to return to often. Super chefs, sizable portions you wont go hungry & usually end up with takeouts. My favs so far steamed dumplings and soy sauce, Hao Fan Beef, Beef strips hot plate, Beef Fried Rice - beware the red chilly chicken, delicious but you've been warned lol, next want explore the seafood menu.
