It is so comforting to taste food thats a reminder of home, its a nostalgic reminder of the pleaures, flavours and culinary delights of a home away from home. Thank you to, Mystic Masala. The cuisine from the vegetables to the traditional meat dishes are just a blast from the past, a master class by the chef. The lamb bunny chow was awesome, the mutton samp and beans was delicious 😋. Worst place and service ever. Placed an order to eat in, they said 15min, we waited over 30min and asked what's happening, they said they are sorry it will take another 10min, here is one complimentary drink. It was now over 50min we asked again and we were told no sorry another 10min, i said we have to be back at work we cannot wait and I want a refund. They didn't want to refund but kept in saying just wait 10min. We couldn't wait any longer it has been an hour so refund was the only option. They refunded us with R50 because of the complimentary drink was now not complimentary but we didn't order it. What a joke. I cannot understand how can they have any...

This hidden gem is a must try! Wholesome food as if cooked in a kitchen at home. Fragrances and spices that tantalize the tastebuds, making you fall in love with South African Indian food.

The soji was delectable. My husband rated the bunny chow one of the best he's eaten, in the East Rand. Our kids enjoyed their sandwiches, opting to order two each the next time. And I was completely satisfied with my three veg curries and roti. Value for money.

We will definitely be eating at Mystic Masala again. We're looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
