Nando's Boskruin — Restaurant in Gauteng

This place started off really well. I remember a time when I thought they were the best around town. A time when the chicken was flavourful and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crispness. When the peri peri wedges were freshly fried and singing with flavour.

But that was a long time ago.

Now the chicken tastes tasteless. More like boiled than grilled. The wedges are hard and small mixed with chips. Tastes like it was old wedges warmed up. Horrible.

So to those wanting to be disappointed go ahead and order from here. You might be lucky and get someone who actually knows what they’re doing to prepare your order. But you would be the exception. Want to know what the norm is then read most of the reviews about this place.

What is even more annoying than the bad food and service is the response to customers who give a low rating. Is this supposed to be an attempt to be witty?

We should not support places that provide bad food and service. It’s not like they’re handing out the chicken for free.

I'm very disappointed in the owners/managers and the staff Ordering food is a pain the lady on the phone doesn't listen to what your order is and then can't finish a conformation without being incorrect Delivery is a major problem i stay + - 800 metres away from this store and yet delivery still takes them more 45 minutes for a small order 4 items and then when the food eventually arrives . It's wrong the hotpot was not a filled boxs it was almost at the halfway point of the box when it was opened The cheese and pine pita was only cheese the pineapple was now where to be seen and on top of that the food was room temperature at best. How is the business still open with the amount of unsatisfied customers it has had and then with this being there new location you would've thought that some changes would've been made to at least attempt to be a semi decent restaurant. Wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone take your business elsewhere to avoid unnecessary frustrations and incompetent...

Wish there was a minus star rating available. Have been ordering nandos almost everyday for the past year at boskruin. The past 2 months i have been supporting eagles landing as boskruin got the order wrong almost every single time. I even stopped complaining as this issue obviously has never been addressed. Tonight i order telephonically thinking i will try boskruin again as its around the corner from where I live. Got home and guess what? I ordered a cheese and pine pita with CRISPY chips. NO CRISPY CHIPS...and i thought know what thats actually fine. Then I open the pita....disgusting is putting it mildly. Thank you Nandos for the 3 pieces of chicken. Literally no salad inside. Just 3pieces of chicken and a drop of mayo. Wish i could attach a photo. This is without a doubt the end of my Nandos Journey. Please please spend less time and effort on your fantastic marketing and jokes and put a little more effort into your customer service. In the end our support is what makes you...
