Pantelis Italian Kitchen Jukskei Park — Restaurant in Gauteng

Went for dinner on Friday night. What a terrible experience! The service is shocking. The waitress serving our table was slow, took a personal call, then spent such a long time talking to friends who came to the restaurant that my wife eventually went to fetch the latte I ordered (at which point the coffee was cold). We waited a long time to order food as our waitress was again socializing on a call. Another waitress assisted us, only after losing a game of rock-paper-scissors to a male waiter. Clearly we know what games they play in the kitchen. The food eventually arrived. Terrible! Cold pizza on what seemed to have been frozen pizza bases. Nothing impressive, the toppings weren't made fresh. The quality and taste was mediocre at best. The restaurant doesn't have a liquor license, which I don't mind at all. But then there's the option to purchase alcohol from the Checkers bottle store and consume it on site. This is a no go restaurant! The menu is very limited as well. Definitely a big...

Panteli's in Jukskei Park is awesome, Jade and the team are highly recommended. They are new to the area and are making a strong effort to win the community over and it's working! The food is awesome, we've had their pizzas, pastas and a burger.

The pizzas are above par and definitely worth the price but it's their pastas that have truly won over the family. Apart from being utterly delicious they are generous portions that I can never finish in one sitting.

They also deliver, which only costs R15 so it's cheaper than Uber and actually arrives still hot. Which brings me to the burger that I ordered via delivery and came in a proper box so for the first time from any delivery came intact and not squashed. And true to form was delicious.

Just a heads up for those not in the area, the parking in the center can get very busy at times.

O my goodness,I just LOVE Pantelis’ new spot in Jukskei park! It opened last week and I’ve already had food there twice. The chicken shitzel was a showstopper and for R145 was a meal that not even I could finish (I’m a BIG eater just for reference) Jade,the manager is a lovely breath of fresh air and is so incredibly inviting and friendly-Thank you!
