I ordered a chilli cheeseburger and a hot chocolate, my son had the russian roll and a chocolate milkshake and my wife had a chilli chicken burger and a cappuccino and we ordered chips to share. We all loved the meals and the chips were hot fresh and awesome. Service was good and quick . We chose to sit at the tables and have our meals while others drove in and sat in their cars enjoying a milkshake or something else from the menu. We will definitely be back. The one thing I found is it is a bit hard to eat out our the baskets provided when the meal is served. Other than that it was a great experience and not too badly priced with all that we ordered coming in under R300. Visited again for ice cream. The wife and I ordered the caramel crazy and my son the chocolate split. The caramel crazy was disappointing. The caramel sauce did not taste good at all. Definitely not the best ice-cream experience for the price. The chocolate split was also disappointing. The sauces really did not taste good. I personally would not recommend the ice-cream. Well...

Had a lunch there today. Im a little on the fence. Being in the home catering industry myself, I found the service a little a slow for order to be taken. I tried the beef curry and have to be honest, I was dissappointed. Meat tender, but very very little of it and the 500 ml container was more rice and sauce. I also found the chutney to be runny and flavourless, actually, all the sauces were a bit on the liquid side. In my opinion, curry was more burn, no real flavour. I consider a curry to be a very traditional roadhouse meal, so dissappointed. All in all, curry over priced for what you got. I also think they might need a different sort of tray to what they use, as they hang down on the car window, so everything slides off.

Was super excited when I saw this place from Witkoppen Road, it's been years since I've been to roadhouse, managed to get a shaded parking spot, I see there is also place to sit down and eat, whats on the menu looks good and it's not over complicated and they were playing some pretty awesome beats while we were waiting for our order, the milkshakes and ice cream bowls are excellent and will definitely be back for those, but when it came to the dagwood I ordered it was kinda a let down, and the chicken burger my wife ordered was far less appealing, she had 2 bites and refused to touch it further, maybe I was expecting too much, or maybe the cooks were having a bad day, I just know that it will take a lot of convincing to order a meal there again, but will have no problem getting another Orio milkshake again, those...
