Razzle@566 — Restaurant in Gauteng

When we arrived at the door a lady advised that we must take a seat on the table outside as they were going to add another table inside. I can't understand why would they not inform us that they were full and the only space available was outside in the cold. Had I been made aware of this I would have went to another restaurant. Coming straight from work and extremely hungry I immediately placed our order as soon as we sat knowing we would be moved inside shortly or atleast before the food arrived. We were informed by the waiter that the chicken would take 45 mins to be prepared and I was fine with that only to wait 1.5 hours for our food. When the food finally arrived after 5 mins of us sitting outside the food was cold. Had no choice but to pack it up. Will definitely not be visiting this...

Probably the best pub/restaurant in the east rand. Cold beer with a good variety on tap, their food is amazingly good. They prepare all the meat on a wood fire and their prices are good for their positions. The seats are comfortable with options of bar stools, sitting at a table or pub tables. Excellent outdoor grubbing when the weather plays along. Food is good and lots to choose from, but slow to the table. Nice crowd, and pleasant staff. Parking a big pain in the arm, though! Even I could redraw the bays to comfortably fit five more broad SUV's inside the gate, and another five outside.
