Roman's Pizza Croydon — Restaurant in Gauteng

We were very happy with the Pizzas order from Romans Croydon on 12th January 2025. Yummy and delicious. Thank you to Mr Chrisos, the owner who is very hands -on with his business. Well Done!!!

However, we ordered through Uber Eats, in spite of us paying the driver cash for the order, my Nedbank Card was still debited with this amount of R452,60. Up until now, Uber Eats has still not refunded me the money. I have put in disputes (via the app) to no avail and even Mr Chrisos was kind enough to lay a telephonic complaint with the Merchant telephone number (the only number available), but I have still had no phone calls or correspondence from Uber Eats.

I wont use Uber Eats again, ever, but intend to order directly from Mr Chrisos who has assured me of the best...

Food not delivered, order confirmed at 5:30pm after they phoned to say they only have thin base and I wanted thick base so I agreed its okay. Then had to phone twice as they said itll be delivered at 6:30pm so once at 7pm to be told they only have 1 order and it's being delivered then 7:30pm phoned again as I live 5min away just to be asked if they can rather deliver the next day at 11am. By that time it's to late to start cooking and all other shops were closed so had to eat bread for dinner.

So I went in the next day at 5PM they did try make up for it, I got my order and 2 extra pizzas and they were...

Nice place with speedy service, i really enjoyed the pizza that i ordered, no problems at all. Would definitely go there again. During Covid, there are no sit in seats available, only take out..

Update: new review 1 Sept 2022: Waiting for more than 35 minutes for a small pizza, store is empty, there was a customer that ordered 42 pizzas and they only concentrated on that order because they were making a big chunk of money from that one order so the rest of the smaller orders were put on hold or delayed, sitting here and writing this review while waiting for my small pizza, no other issues...
