The pizza is good, but the service will leave a bad taste in your mouth

On Saturday night, I ordered 2 large pizzas telephonically. I specifically phoned, as I did not want to wait in a crowded store during Covid times. Upon arrival at the store, 20 minutes after I placed my order, the lady behind the counter informed me that my pizzas were not ready yet. I did not think much of it, as it was Saturday and they were obviously quite busy. However, when they started calling out order number 284 (and my order was 277), I went back to the counter and asked why my order was not ready when orders after me were. She informed me that they burned my order and was busy making me a new one. By this time, it had already been 40 minutes since my initial order. I said that I do not mind that they burned my order, but I cannot see why I have to wait in a crowded store because of their mistake - I would like my order delivered. She asked me politely to just wait 2 more minutes, to which I agreed.

However, my pizzas only arrived about 20 minutes after this. Yes - I waited more than an hour for 2 large pizzas. When I finally collected my order, I did no receive any apology (even though the manager was behind the counter and was well aware of the situation). I even presented them with a solution (to deliver my order), but it seems they did not care about their clients at all. I will never buy from this Romans again, simply because I know that they do not respect me...

I placed my order just before 18:00 on 28 Oct 22. Since I received no sms with my order number I called the store and was told it doesn't show on their system but it shows on the online system - my order will be delivered on 45 min.

An hour later I phoned the store again. This time I was told they cannot find my order on the system. So it must be out with the driver.

Half an hour later (total time 1 hour and 30 minutes later) there was no driver. So I called the store once more and asked to speak to a manager. The lady assisting me (Mapula?) started laughing and called the manager.

I was promised a call back. 20 minutes have passed. I called again, this time the manager told me he did try to call BUT he could not reach me. The driver was on his way to my house in X street - wrong address. My order arrived 2 hours late...

I've gone through all the reviews the past 3-4 months now from customers and may I just kindly confirm that NONE of it has been dealt with. Poor customer service, poor pizzas. Nothing has been resolved and I will go out of my way to let the people of the Moot know how bad this Romanz Pizza is. We took a last chance and gave you the benefit of the doubt for the 5th time. EVERY SINGLE TIME we were disappointed! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Almost no cheese on pizza, the bolognaise? Where is the mince? The bolognaise pizza I had 3 years ago from Waverley Romanz Pizza was EXCELLENT! Your pizza pies are a disgrace, you put more tomato sauce than cheese, I don't even want to talk about the chocolate pizza pie, what a dissapointment. It will be our LAST time ordering ANYTHING from you, we have wasted our hard earned money. It feels like we have...
