Food was great. Service I cannot say the same. Had to ask for service. Waitress didn't tell us about the specials like the other tables were told. When enquired about the specials we were told that it's not applicable to us as my husband and myself were not a couple. Only because we had our children with us!? Waited a very long time for our food. Waitress didn't bother to check up on us regularly. Service from both waitress and manager was terrible. Very disappointed, very low quality food, and just loads of extremely drunk people swearing loudly and throwing cans of beer at each other. Table next to us had to send their chicken back as it was under cooked, and my husbands calamari starter tasted very suspect. We ended up taking our mains as a takeaway as the atmosphere was just that unpleasant. If drinking is your aim, then it's probably a jol. But if you are expecting, like we were, to have that traditional Portuguese restaurant experience with hearty, tasty food, then you're better off going somewhere else. While the authentic Potuguese/Mozambique style food is really great and the vibe is laid back, the service is left a little wanting.
