The Roof — Restaurant in Gauteng

If I could put a headline to this review I would call it “Missed Opportunities”. The Roof is a cafe/venue at an office park in Fourways. The views are great especially around sunset.

Even though the cafe is in an office park, there’s no wifi. I invited my team of 10 people to work outside the office and we chose the roof but had to leave as 1- no WiFi 2- no electricity sockets to charge devices. Even though the place is supposed to open at 8 am, I was there at 8:30 am and there was no one. A lady did arrive 10 minutes later and was clearly not happy to see us.

A lot of the chairs are broken and the tables wobbly and clearly the staff do not take pride in the place, as they leave those broken chairs and wobbly tables in the same place.

I must say I have been to a lot of places and The Roof is the leader by far. If you looking at private or business functions these guys are the only place to go. They customized and tailor ever need you have to suit your budget. The best staff that make you feel welcome.
