The only 2 good points about this restaurant amongst the many constructive ones are: The area where we dined in was amazing, it is sea facing, you can hear the waves crashing in There was one incident where the staff had been very thoughtful to give us a bigger tea pot on our second order of Rooibos, yes SECOND order of Rooibos in 30minutes where she could have poured us more hot water and instead have to reorder the drink
This restaurant really could improve in many ways especially on their operations.
Very Slow Food Operations - waiting time for any food or drinks take at least 30minutes from point of order to collection. We ordered chips and it took them 2 hours to get it ready. We thought that the waitress forgot about it but it turns out she remembered when we tried calling for the bill and was about to leave and told us that chips have not arrived yet. That was 1 hour 50minutes in.
Poor Food Quality - worse part, when the chips arrived after 2 hours later, it was very oily and soggy. We saw it and just asked for the bill. Would have given it 1 more star on food quality if we hadn't been served this. The rest of the food that we ordered - creamy mussels (starters), carbonara (entree), and hake (entree) were average. But made worse because it came out so late and food was already cold. It took so long between the entrees and starters that we almost forgot what our starters were.
Service staff needs to severely improve - food ops and quality is already poor but to cap things off, service staff couldn't manage the service. Waitress was rude when we asked her for hot water ,instead told us we need to order a new pot of tea.
Overall Atmosphere - Every single family around us had a bad experience with either the food ops, taste or staff (not exaggerating). Only saving grace of this restaurant is it is in a fantastic location. Please let's help...

In particular, Stacey-Lee, a Server was outstanding, very professional, and efficient! Stacey greeted me with a warm smile during breakfast time. I selected my food and sat at a table near the window facing the sun. She checked on me in about 15 minutes into eating my breakfast and asked if I needed anything. I told her “No, I’m fine. Thank you.”
On my way back to my room, I saw Stacey and asked her if I could take a glass of guava juice up to my room. And she said, “Wait, let me get you a better glass.” She brought me a taller glass and I was able the guava juice properly. On my way to my room I thought to myself, “What a kindhearted person.”
Later that evening, my tour guide and I were coming back from the mall. Unfortunately we could not find a good nail spa there. While walking by the front desk, I saw Stacey. I asked her, “if she knew of any nail spas in the area.” She said “yes,” and escorted me to two nail spas. Unfortunately, one nail spa was booked until Monday and the other nail spa nail tech was only available on Tuesday. Stacey was kind enough to reach out to her friend Jazz, is a nail tech. Jazz was able to come by 3:00pm and do my gel manicure and pedicure. Jazz did a wonderful job on my nails and toes. Thanks to Stacey! She went above and beyond with customer service and kindness.

Ordered drinks and then the waiter explained the menus, as per normal, the Ala Carte as well as the Valentine's menus...We were 5 people. At 21:25 some starters then ONLY arrived! Almost 2hrs later, from the Valentine's menu. The other 3 starters came from the Ala Carte menu...these arrived after many attemps and deliberations with the waiter as well as with the Hostess of the evening...Hot starters were cold and tastless! Main courses were OK, plates of fish and chips were food that were send back as we had to reiterate that we have not received our starters...Chips were terrible, made in old oil... The evening was an overall disaster, embarrassing and waste of money! The Hostess&Floor Manager were absolute clueles and excuses were tabled...To say the least....NOT OUR problem. It was said that the Valentine menu should have been the menu for the evening, apparently, the management disagreed with Floor Manager at the time... By 21:45, the waiters started cleaning the tables and we still did not get our desert...How embarrasing! We requested the desert for a take away as we knew we had to leave! I must state it clearly, it was the MOST embarrassing evening we have ever experienced...NO professionalism and NO customer service exellence.
