What an absolutely unforgettable evening at Chai & Spice! From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for our Entrepreneurs Dinner Get-Together. The ambience was rich with culture, comfort, and charm — a beautiful blend that made everyone feel at home.

And the food… simply spectacular! Every dish was a masterpiece — full of authentic Indian flavours, vibrant spices, and made with so much care and passion. From the fragrant curries to the perfectly baked naan, each bite reminded us why Chai & Spice truly stands out as the best Indian cuisine in George.

First time client, was happy with Client service and was excited to try the food..... I was very disappointed, ordered boneless lamb curry, butter prawns and a few extras. When I got home and opened my bag I was greeted with the most disappointing portion size I have even see, however I had hope for the taste boy was I wrong..... the boneless lamb curry was a container full of oil and salt, I had to scoop off the oil before adding it to the rice and then when I did try it it was so salty it just tasted like sodium and i could fit the entire meal in the palm of one hand (R165). This was however the better dish of the two as the butter prawns or rather pre frozen water prawns of witch there was 8 small prawns was terrible it tasted like a watered down tomato based sauce that was diluted by the taste of frozen prawn water(R205). Overall lovely people great service absolutely terrible food. Ended up throwing out...

The female server did not know the items on the menu properly, misinformation was given about the breads. Wrong product was served , after almost 30mins of placing the order . Food was below average. And when we ordered another bread it took forever to come. After following up 3 times we were informed that it takes 15 mins for breads. Which should have been informed wile taking the order or wile following up at least. If not earlier. The food had totally gone cold by then.

We finally called for the bill , paid and left . After paying the bill the bread arrived which they wanted us to do a take away . Haha that was funny. Overall a very bad experience and would Not recommended this to travelers at all. Skip it or look for something else . It’s not about the money . Just a bad and sad experience. For a product that’s...
