When looking for somewhere new to try, we tend to go on recommendations, and Meade Cafe was recommended. The setting is beautiful, with lovely almost baroque decor, Its cosy, and has a lovely vibe. I loved all the quotes on the walls in the beautiful and colourful garden. Seating is available inside and outside under the trees and umbrellas. I found the food over priced for what you got. I wanted banting bread instead of a Panini and was told I'd have to pay an additional R12.00 for 2 tiny pieces of bread. The bread couldnt have been bigger than a 5 by 8 cm slice. At R95.00 for a pulled Pork with Asian Slaw it's really very expensive. Sadly it wasn't as good as it was made out to be. Sometimes I suppose all restaurants have a bad day. Maybe next time...

The open garden courtyard is simply beautiful for summertime, and the interior with its lovely decorations and fireplace makes it perfect for winter too. And let's not forget about their menu – it's so diverse and interesting! I highly recommend visiting and experiencing the Mead Cafe's...

I can certainly offer my recommendation. The service is prompt and attentive, and the ambiance of the setting and decor feels rejuvenating and airy. Kudos to Meade Café for a...
