Great evening, great rating. Terrible service from kitchen. Ordering a loaded fries, the biltong one, NO BACON (as I do not and am not allowed consume pork)

Waiter brings out boyfriends burger, tells me my bacon loaded fries will be out shortly. I stopped her, double checked BILTONG FRIES.

Waiter responded - yes Biltong. Order comes out, bacon...send back.

Now funny thing, my sister even joked with me saying that the kitchen is only going to remove the bacon and replace with biltong. (We both used to manag restaurants and know staff takes chances at times)

I thought they won't as it is an entirely different meal with different sauces etc. Can you believe, they scratched out the bits of bacon and topped the plate with biltong. I smelled bacon, I saw bacon bits that they missed and unfortunately - before seeing I tasted bacon...

Lekker family outing gone wrong. Waiter try due to lack of training didn't know what to do. Wife's food came. 40 mins later my food and kids pizza still didn't got served. Waiter came to tell me that the kitchen says the food is ready. I why tell me it's ready. Bring the food . 45 mins after wife got her food we got a pizza and my steak. The steak was ice cold. I have ask the waiter a few times to call the manager before I got my steak. She just came back and said they will give us a discount. Pick my steak up walk to them at the bar. Ask for manager told him te story and he took the plate and walked away not saying anything. I paid for what we had and walked out. There wine was basically sold out. Waiter did know her menu . People around us started asking are you also waiting so long for food. Not busy 5 tables when...

I don’t understand how a restaurant runs without being able to serve up the basics correctly. It’s not hard to cook up a burger or a pizza but with only two sittings , it was a difficult ordeal. Can’t imagine what it must be like if the restaurant gets busy. Then while we are eating they are packing up tables and putting chairs on the tables. Closing while we are still trying to eat. Very poor food, poor management but the lady who helped us was very friendlyRESPONDING TO OWNER- we very clearly explained our dissatisfaction to your waiter and when asked about the chairs on the tables , we were told you were packing up.
