Steers — Restaurant in Goodwood

This is now the third time I have to give this establishment a 1 star rating. Believe me if I could give it -5, it still would not do justice for the poor service received. There was literally 1 person before my order. But I had to wait 35-45 minutes for a large cheesy chips and 2 ice-cream cones. Atleast I was able to see why those chips took so long, it was very close to being burnt. It was very dark brown. No crunch in the chips to show that it's crispy. It was not a pleasure to see that, just imagine eating it. It tasted like the chips was made 5 hours prior to my order and just dipped in the oil again because it was extremely cold. Just imagine cold chips man... Yoh it was shocking to me and the person I shared the chips with. Not to talk about cheese, it just covered the top chips, it wasn't even enough for a “Large” cheesy chips. R50 definitely not well spent. The fact tgat this is the third time I get this service really tells me that I should rather look the other way next time. Just a side note, I had to wait 5 minutes to put in my I order as well and no they weren't under staffed for the day....

If I could've given it 0 stars I would have done that fast fast. I ordered a cheesy chip, but it stood on the pass for more than 5 minutes. The guy behind the counter regularly checked the slips hanging but handed other people their food while I was first. Later he asked the lady in the kitchen what order is this on the pass. Waited for me to look away and then call my order. Got my chips, when I wanted to eat a minute later the chips was cold and no fork or something to eat with. No man I'm not used to this. Cold food and need to eat with my hands.

I went back today to this Steers to see whether there was any change after my review above. One email from management asking for detail. So today was disappointing day number 2. I definitely wasn't served with a cheesy chips, but rather chips with a hint of cheese. The chips was also cold, so I assume it was just laying there. BEWARE OF THIS BRANCH !!

I bought 3 Wacky Wednesday deals at steers in N1 City branch I ordered specifically 3 chicken and 3 beef burgers being 1 if each per deal .. the lady seemed very demanding that I hurry up and pay seeing that she wanted to leave and go home I was surprised as I've never recieved this treatment before .. after waiting for 10 minutes I went back and took my order .. when I got home I saw that the burgers were all chicken! The boxes were all dirty as if someone dipped their fingers in sauce and rubbed it on the box im literally disgusted i wish i could attach a picture to this post, Ontop of that no tissues to wipe it off!. I'm unhappy with the order and now being after 9pm im unable to take it back . Please beware of this branch I wouldn't want anyone else to have this service , rather go to canal walk they always give good service and staff...
