Senzi's on Faya — Restaurant in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

This is really a nice place in a perfect location. The setting is great, the vibe and the meat is tasty and tender. However, the staff is going to be the downfall of this place. In my entire life I have never come across to a place where everyone is so unfriendly. It's like they don't have your time as a customer. They don't great and if you great them they don't respond, and if they do they will respond while walking away from you. You have to make sure that you call someone in order to be attended to. They bring menus and leave them on the table without saying anything to you. You have to ask questions all the time of which you get unsatisfactory answers. They always seem to be rushing somewhere. It was worse when one of them was cleaning preparing to close and she was dragging the tables with the chairs on top which was make some very irritating noise. The chairs were falling as it they are breaking and she would continue the game of pulling and pushing with complete disregard of the customers. I even felt as if she was trying to chase us away. If you are in Margate and you missing your mama's cooking, wishing for some soul food, Senzis has all that and more, they will braai for you as well. What stood out for me is that, we had more than one person checking up on our table even though a table only has one waiter, we were well taken care of indeed. Second thing I apprecite is that, after they cleared our table the lady offered us hand sanitizer again. So the lady cleared our table, handed us hand sanitizer and made her way to the kitchen, we accidentally took the sanitizer with, because we've never been offered hand sanitizer while leaving a restaurant before, we had a good laugh about it with the waitress when we returned it. Great food and service all around. The staff is ever willing to assist in all ways possible when needed. Decent adherence to the lockdown regulations as stipulated by the president. However the carrying capacity of the venue is very limiting, given it's popularity thus making the wait a bit longer, especially because it takes a bit too much time to queue and order, then wait for the preparation of your meal.

Also noted, inconsistency in terms of security insurance. When entering the venue, all males were searched for any weapons concealed on their bodies, the ladies weren't.
