KFC Springfields- Umgeni Business Park — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

For the first time I find myself having to give a bad review on KFC .. being a regular customer to KFC I am absolutely disappointed.. I always hear that the specific branch is good so I found myself wanting to go there and I did yesterday. To KFC in Springfield park durban.. Ever since I walked in service was bad.. cashiers attitude was terrible.. there was no line to follow as we was the only ones there to order and the rest was waiting on they orders .. the cashier made us wait a long time before seeing to us.. and when she finally got to us.. she made me repeat myself over 5 times .. and she kept repeating the wrong thing to me.. ordered the bucket 15 pieces and 2 ice creams.. when she finally heard me she didn't even wait for me to tell her that I also wanted the ice cream she just told me the total for the chicken.. I had to tell her I'd like 2 ice creams as well.. and she made me repeat myself again so many times.. and I having my elderly dad with me told me he actually heard me clear so he doesn't understand why the cashier couldn't hear me.. after paying I asked her if she could give me my ice cream first while I wait for the chicken. Surprisingly she heard me saying that and didn't ask me to repeat.. what I found very strange but didn't think much of at the time was that the chicken was given to me in less than a minute.. I would assume if the chicken was already made it would actually take little longer to put 15 pieces of chicken in the bucket.. it was so fast that it was given before the ice cream was .. I didn't think anything and left .. I got to my car and opened and checked the chicken looked fine on the top.. to my surprise I went home straight after and was taking the chicken out and I was disgusted and disappointed by kfc honestly.. half way down the chicken looked liked someone had taken the skin part out it did not look edible for a human to eat.. I had to give it to my dogs to eat.. and the ones on the top that we ate was completely terrible. The chicken looked like old chicken and it was salty tasted horrible.. it didn't taste like kfc nor did it have the smell of kfc.. I am utterly and most disappointed in kfc.. from the customer service being so bad the cashiers bad attitude and looking like she hated her job to the food quality being so poor and only word I can use.. disgusting.. I don't think I will ever go back to the once spoken so highly...

After monster jam 2023 we went to kfc the lady took our order and there was about 4 to 5 cars infront of us. Long story short we waited almost an hour when there was 5 cars in front of us in the drive through. But people that went in side where getting served faster then us. It was only after I saw another staff asked him what's going on he tells us the computer system is very very slow and that's why they taking long. But they are closing at 10pm only reason I went there as check there website which said opened 24 hours

And the guy said they have chicken so they will serve us.

When I asked how long that will take he didn't know.

The lady that took our order down should of told us they having issues. And she was going from car to car.

In that hour about 6 cars had left the line.

Eventually I asked the car behind me to move then I left.

I settled for 4 pies.

When my order was the 8 piece family treat. With small pop and 10 dunked wings.

I'm not happy with this service!

I have come in there a few times before I know the drive through is slow!

But yoh we where hungry and we new kfc will be faster then any other food...

On Friday the 23 June I decided to try the new KFC down the road it was a terrible experience the drive thru is not a drive thru the wait was too long I ordered the 10 pc Family meal n to exchange the two coleslaw that comes with it into mash n gravy, bought a coleslaw separately n a bucket of wings the service off the staff was very unprofessional,when I got home everything in the family feast packet was dumped not set in a proper manner like how they normally do it n the best part when I got home there was 3 coleslaw s in the packet I neva eat KFC without mash n gravy the food was very tasteless it didnt taste like how KFC normally does the wings were very bad I tried calling the number provided but no answer I couldn't even take the food back as I was alone at home n hubby took car ...I have to say my first time experience was horrible n I will not buy again my order came to just below R500 n it was not worth me spending...
