RocoMamas I'Langa Nelspruit — Restaurant in Mbombela

We recently spent a night in Nelspruit and enjoyed a good dinner at RocoMama's at I'Langa Mall. This is a good place for burgers, wings and ribs. Opening hours 10am to 10pm daily.

RocoMama's has a large indoor and seating area. Menu papers on on the table, staff can help you with selections if helpful. In short, simply tick the boxes next to orders you want. They have a make your own burger order option as well.

During our meal, we had a make your burger that tasted pretty good. Didn't care for the pink coloured bun but the ingredients were good, beef patty just fine. This was a good overall burger.

Even better where the BBQ pork ribs and fries. Ribs were soft, came off the bone nicely and tasted very good. This was a really good order of ribs, something we'd eagerly return for.

Overall, very happy with the portion size and meal quality at RocoMama's. This is a casual but better-than-expected place to eat in Nelspruit. We'd happily return for another meal here is spending time in Nelspruit again...

We had a bad experience last night (between 08:15 & 08:25 pm)

Me & my friends wanted to get some good food. The waitress was rude (not welcoming at all), refused to clean the table we wanted to sit on and told us that it will take forever for her to get the table clean, even after we told her that we don't mind waiting, she kept on telling us that she can't and we will have to pick another table and kept telling us to be quick coz they want to close at 9pm.

It was so disappointing and felt it that we were not welcome. We decided to leave. The restaurant next door gave us and excellent service than what we encountered at RocoMamas.

NB* Im not writing this to discourage people from going to RocoMamas, but for RocoMamas to encourage and train their staff some customer care...

Horrible place to be, while waiting for my order having paid cocroaches were roaming around next to the stove. To my amazement i altered the cashier but she said in the African community its normal to have cocroaches roaming around. I nearly vomitted in front of her but i controlled my vomit. Talk about being hungry late at night with the only food outlet opened. I was also disappointed with myself as i took the order. Health wise im still ok, but going there again NEVER...
