CoffeeBox Athlone — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

Man, I just love this place!! The convenience!! Drive in. Order. Pay. Take that 1st sip! Makes my day. Cuppachinos are amazing and the Iced Coffee just hits the spot. My son rates the strawberry shake and he is fussy! The chicken mayo and cheese & tom sandwiches are very good quality. No skimping on the fillings. Like Mom would make. I tried the Granola Bar the other day - yum yum yum. Nuts. Raisins. And gooey granola. I was so impressed.

The only draw back is its quite a trek up the hill from PMB - but oh so worth it! Wish there was an offramp to Peter Brown Rd as u go up the hill to Hilton - it would make CoffeBox access perfect!

Love this little coffee detour. The staff have always been so friendly each time I've gone so it's like ordering coffee from a mate. One of the things I love, is your pups are welcome through the drive through too!! Take them with and spoil them with a little puppaccino after a trip to the park. Ooh and the muesli fruit slab things are one of my favorite things to nibble on the run with my coffee. What's also nice is if you don't need to dash you are welcome to chill inside for a few moments while you enjoy your coffee at a more relaxed pace. Wish it was on my way to work but then is...

A very rustic diner experience

My partner & I generally take a hike on weekends & treat ourselves to a little cheat meal from coffee box thereafter.

Upon our last visit at around 16:00pm, we had an absolute nostalgic experience. The atmosphere created by the cashier, to us picking sandwiches & muffins.

I love that you can grill your own sandwich while engaging in blissful communication.

I would highly recommend that you try the Pale O & ask them to make it Tlc for a one way ticket to heaven.

A definite 10/10...
