"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mugg & Bean in Liberty Mall, Pietermaritzburg, and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food, service and overall hospitality! Located at the end of the foodcourt in Liberty Midlands Mall, Mugg & Bean is a cozy place to grab a quick bite. We settled for a cheese and tomato toasted sandwiche, a grilled chicken and mozzarella toasted sandwich and a build your own omelette with herbed mushrooms and mozzarella. For drinks, we indulged in the carribean mocha and a chai latte. The price was reasonably fair for the size of portions. We all found our respective meals to be very filling. Our waiter, Bryce, gave us excellent service. We especially commend him on catering to our many dietary eliminations and replacements. He was attentive to our orders and did a fantastic job with all dishes being correct. If possible, I highly suggest requesting for him when visiting as not many waiters go out of their way the way he does. Our drinks and food were served promptly and arrived hot. All in all, a great place for breakfast/brunch....

so sad to leave such a review, today (12.01.2024) my dad and mum went here for breakfast and the food was terrible, the price was high and it was just so so sad. The bread was hard to chew, I understand some bread is hard but this type of breading used for the sandwich was inedible, no microherbs, it was a while lettuce leaf thrown on the side of the plate, I don't want to leave such a review but when asked for help, no one was around to help. Today wasn't their day cause we had an operation to deal with but this just made it more upsetting to deal with the rest of the day.
