Willowton Palace — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

Actually I rate this place zero stars and even less. Today I had an absolutely terrible experience there. After a long 2 hour drive we were passing pmb and a friend referred us to willowton palace. We placed the order and the manageress told us 25 - 30min wait. We waited 1 hour and there was no sign of even a soup starter which we ordered. They were not even busy in the restaurant itself. We were not offered any explanation and just ignored when trying to enquire about our order. From what I noticed the place is run extremely unprofessional and unhygienic. We literally saw a worker heating up a sandwich then shoving her fingers into the centre to feel if it's hot enough. That too was an absolute turn off. An absolutely grubby, dirty, understaffed place , the service is absolute non existent, the place is messed, uncleared tables , the wash area is appaling , floors filthy, MICROWAVED food GOD knows when this so called FRESH FOOD was prepared, part of the order was served after waiting for over 45 minutes and that food had to still wait because there were no plates at the table, plates came wet with some remnants of previous food on it. Always reliable to give the customer authentic Indian food. Reasonably priced meals that won't leave the wallet lean .A tasty mutton bunny costs R35 and please state that a large potato belongs to a potato bunny and not in a mutton bunny.
