Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Overport

Its unfortunate that to leave a review i have to choose 1 star. If i had the choice i would give negative rates like -10! I arrived from jhb and decided to order of the app for a quick supper and ordered the special off the app for the family feast. I go into the store to make payment 15 min later from ordering and thought it would be near pick up time as the jhb branches are generally quick. Sad to say this was not the case. I have numerous complaints regarding this branch visit and it will Definitely be my LAST VISIT EVER ! Upon entry the cashier(no mask on face but below the chin)is standing n having a good chat with some other customer who by the way was not even wearing a mask yet leanin over the counter. I made mention to her if there's no covid protocols for this store which she then quickly lifted her mask n told the customer the same.the customer with arrogance started to stare me off to try and intimidate me because i hav no idea what d cashier had told her in Zulu as i dnt understand the language. Then started to swear at me and mind u not one staff member came to sort the matter out but rather ignored n carried on. To top it all NO manager in sight. Then 2 males entered the store with mask below the chin and alcohol in their glasses . Its now 50 min later frm my order time and still no food. In that time i saw 2 different people.enter this store with alcohol in the hands yet this suppose to have been a fully HALAAL store. Disgusting to say the least and i wil b passin this message along to evryone i know nt to support such a store as the standards in this franchise is putrid!the store looks dirty and not well kept , the staff attitude is another story so makes one wonder if the owner has any interest in his customers and their wellbeing. And to top it off the pizza wasnt even of the standards im use to getting in other debonairs...

Not Sure where to start or what to say with the service that we received from debonairs sparks road. this is the sixth time that we have placed an order and we have still not received it until now it is currently 10:10 p.m. in the evening the order was placed just after 8 p.m. the store closes at 9 p.m. my order was taken down and confirmed that it will be delivered as soon as the order is ready tried to contact the store which obviously there was no answer tried calling a manager who previously dealt with us no luck either the service from this store is absolutely shocking the first time it happened we let it go the second time it happened we let it go do the people actually working at the store know what's going on there is no courtesy in returning calls to confirm whether the delivery is actually on its way or not. Definitely will not be ordering from the store again I strongly suggest that to those who read this review please don't try and order for delivery you may never receive your food. To the management and staff reading this review there is no words to describe my dismay even you guys don't know what's going on in your own store if this message has any impact please give me a call I'm willing to entertain and discuss. I have no doubt that your so-called amazing system which does not take orders will pull...

Debonairs Sparks fails once again! I had placed an order this afternoon. An hour later I call the store to ask where's my food, they tell me the driver had left and is on the way. (I stay 5 minutes away). Another 20 minutes later, I call again, and they tell me the same story , but the best part is they don't even have the drivers mobile number. I asked the cashier to speak to the manager (there's 2 of them) but apparently they were "unavailable to talk" and would call me back-which they didn't. I receive the pizza over 2 hours later, and the best part is it was a totally different pizza than what I ordered. I ordered a red hot chicken (exclusively online pizza) but instead received a very unappetizing pizza with which appeared to have tikka sauce mixed with something else, but no toppings! It's understandable that there are numerous deliveries which need to get delivered, but be sure to inform your customers of that and what the waiting time will be. This is not the first time Debonairs Sparks had disappointed. There has been plenty of occasions in the past. To the owner and the management team, learn how to run a Debonairs pizza outlet appropriately, or close this piece of trash down. This is...
