We came on the 1st of November and I wasn't happy. I couldn't even complain cos the waiter was friendly. I ordered a Shore thing meal for my toddler and two Reel Love Platters for me and my husband. So when the Reel love platters arrived, They didn't have the Paco stuff (fried prawns), they brought them separately, the prawns on both plates were dry and tastes burnt. The fish was a different one comparing to what I've had in other ocean baskets for the same meal, the fish looked weird, we didn't even eat it (just did a doggy bag so we can throw away at home)... Here is what gave me chills... The Shore Things meal was for a Toddler and what I know is that the fish bites have no bones. We have been having this meal for my toddler since (I even asked the waiter on that day to make sure it doesn't have bones and she confirmed).. Thank God, the meal came very hot so my daughter couldn't eat it right away while waiting for it to cool down. I decided to take a bite of the fish bites and I was welcomed by bones... All of them had bones. I called the waiter and told her that there is bones on this meal, and she told me that they might have forgotten to remove them... Thinking about it, what could have been the worst case scenario if my toddler had eaten the fish bites since she loves them so much? I just paid the bill and left so heartbroken. Read moreI recently visited this restaurant 8 July, and while I enjoyed the food, the service was very disappointing. Our waitress, who was black like us, was unprofessional and made several inappropriate comments. At one point, while opening a bottle of beer, she said, "Don’t open with your mouth; we don’t want those whites to undermine us." This comment made me very uncomfortable and was a major turn-off.
As we were new to sushi, we were hoping for some guidance, but instead, she was loud and didn’t explain things well. She also made a comment like, "Do you also drink Heineken? I don’t like it," which felt too casual and unprofessional, as if she was treating me like a friend rather than a customer.
Additionally, when we ordered beer, she brought out glasses and poured it for us without asking if we wanted to drink it from the bottle. This was particularly disappointing because, as social media influencers, we wanted to show our followers the beer brand we were enjoying. The service was so off-putting that I couldn’t even finish my meal and ended up going to another restaurant instead.

Read more19 October 2025: I received a very bad service from Louisa, actually her attitude stinks. She gave us a rotten sauce, prawns that were not fresh at all; and to make matters worse, the food was cold! When I politely raised my concern with Louise, she responded with a very bad and defensive attitude [that ever since my existence on this earth] I have never received from any restaurant or retail store or service provider. She warmed the food and gave me another sauce while busy scolding at me. I ate the food but still tasted a bit offish; and it's unfortunate that I now have a running stomach from consuming the food. As a result of such a bad experience from this franchise, I will definitely never ever set my foot at this Savannah Ocean basket franchise, and will warn my friends and family members or anyone to stay away from your franchise.
