So we came to buy using the McDonald's app and used their self service terminal which didn't give us any receipt. We sat and waited for our meals to our surprise only one meal was brought. We asked one Lucky Selepe what's going on cause we have two orders, Hai ke Lucky Selepe goes and brings me a cheese burger with regular fries and cold drink and as i was about to enjoy my double cajun nazo meal i realize that no maarn this is not my order and i ask Lucky Selepe to please bring me the correct order then all of a sudden the story changed, we were told that the transaction declined. Now funny thing is that both orders were successful and there was order numbers (3364 and 3365) and bought transactions went off my account but Lucky Selepe continuously told me that my transaction had declined. I then asked him to open the self service terminal and as he opened it he then restarted the device and then told me that unfortunately there's nothing he can do as he restarted the device. He then said he'll check his system since he is management and see if indeed there was an order, eh this guy then tells me that its going to reverse. They then went on to make a mockery out of me and my wife. We are really disappointed and are very dissatisfied with the service we got. The staff there is terrible and ruined. One lady who was at the till even said I should take the bin and look for my slip. Read moreOrdered food for the second time via Uber Eats from this Mcdonalds. Firstly the contact number doesnt work (it would'nt have been a nice conversation). I have logged a review with Uber eats aswell as Mcdonalds custimer care. Fisrt order was about R600 and part of this was a big mac burger where it only had one beef patty and not two as it should. Second order was mcmuffin meals where the one had a hot chocolate (hot beverage) it was supplied to the uber driver without a proper plastic lid nor was it sealed like with the cold drinks, it was wrapped with plastic and gues what half the drink was spilled and everything was full of hot choclate, now firstly if someone builds burgers everyday how do you miss a patty on signature burger amd secondly if you supply uber eats and you are part of the whole business model you should ensure that food and drinks be supplied and sealed properly so either no one tampers with the food or everythings spills all over (one would expect) wont buy from this mcdonalds ever in my life again. Read moreThis particular McDonald's is at a garage on the N1, meaning that people may want to move quickly through the place (especially when using the drive through). I recieved the wrong food. When I went back there were many people going back to the drive through window to complain about the same thing so I went inside. From there I could see that each incorrect bag was bei g opened and checked a number of times to find Individuals correct food. Once fou d it was given to the person.
