Jimmys Florida — Restaurant in Roodepoort

The chips taste amazing & the staff is extremely friendly. However, the food & service haven't met Jimmy standards yet. I've been there a few times since they've opened & there's always been something wrong:

1. I've had chicken that hasn't been cooked thoroughly - it had pinkness on the inside.
2. I've been given mild chicken when I asked for Peri-Peri.
3. I've waited for over 25 minutes to get chicken & rolls and when I finally got them, chips were added to my order which I specifically asked Not to be added.
4. I've had chicken that didn't taste fresh.

The place has potential to be really great. They're open during loadshedding, it looks very clean, they have very friendly staff & when the chicken is cooked well & is fresh, it...

I just had the worst customer experience here, my order was ready, 17:25 06/09 I call to order I get there and pay at 17:50. my order is at the counter around the same time the guys at the till both pass the order looking at the slip but they don't call the order no. It's 18:20 nd I decide to get up and ask how long will the order still take only to find that it was my order that was chilling on the counter. I express my dissatisfaction with this the guy with the earrings in his ears decides to jus ignore me no apology nothing. I'm sure if the owner or manager was there this was not going to happen. Definitely the last time for me....it's true that if you trust the wrong people with your business they will run it...

Absolutely love Jimmy's Florida! The vibe is always welcoming, and the service is top-notch. A special shoutout to Reborn—her smile is absolutely infectious and brightens the whole place. On top of that, she nails the order every single time. It's rare to find that combination of warmth and precision in service. Big kudos to the kitchen staff as well—the food is consistently delicious and clearly made with care....
