We had lunch at this sweet little spot called Whole Earth Cafe, a quick stop during our sightseeing around Cape Town.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and energetic, and the service was quick and efficient. We ordered the chicken burger and the vegan burger, both served with a fresh salad and a mix of crispy sweet potato and regular fries, all freshly cut and cooked.

The cafe has a lively ambiance, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Inside, there’s also a small shop where they sell their own creative items like books, artwork, and paintings, a lovely touch that adds to the charm of the place.

If you’re passing by this area while in Cape Town, we definitely recommend stopping at Whole Earth Cafe for a wholesome and...

We went to the Whole Earth Cafe several times for breakfast and the quality dropped significantly within 4 weeks.

The service: The waiters are friendly, but most of them are on their phones at the counter They don’t communicate why the food takes 50 minutes to arrive (with only one more table occupied with guests) After we complained they said we didn‘t have to pay for the coffes and stayed friendly.

The food: The avo-toast was soaked through and soggy Eggs with eggshell

The first time was great, after it unfortunately kept on getting worse. Hope Whole Earth will keep the quality high in the future. Would...

This cafe specialises in providing vegetarian food dishes in a quiet off street setting. It is housed in a small wooden frame construction building with a kitchen in the back, serving dining room extensions and an office to one side. There is an area for car parking situated off the street and leading to the tree shaded stairs and cafe entrance. It has village feeling to it. It did not appear to be wheel chair accessible. On the day we visited there was sufficient parking. The fare was tasty and filling. My serving and others in our party were attended by a large pesky flies. The service was of average to...

My favorite restaurant in the Deep South! I come here every week for a year, this is how much I love it! Massive portions for lunch. If you take the salad and add something like fried calamari, then the portion could be for two people. I love their eggs benni. And I love their falafel and friends. More pricey than other places but the portion size makes it worth it. The only negative are their smoothies. It always tastes as if they use unripe bananas. I tried about 5 times to order a smoothie at different times of the year but I never enjoyed. All other drinks are lovely though. Great service and wonderful atmosphere

Stopped by before going to Scarborough beach for a coffee. Did not expect how great the coffee would be - Caffè mocha and strong cappuccino. Wonderful friendly and happy staff. Odd comment to make but the bathroom made me happy...there were even little hand towels to dry your hands! :) the vibe of the place relaxed me completely and really enjoyed the rustic, wooden vibes. Take caution when heading off of the main road to enter the place and park as it can be a bit rushed if anyone is travelling behind you. Will be back to try the food!
