I popped in to the Mugg and Bean upstairs this morning for a cup of coffee. The shop doors were open at that time, it was around about 06:31. I was told that the shop opens at 06:30, and therefore they won’t be able to help me, which got me so confused because it already was 06:31.
I totally did not have any problem with that whatsoever, but as I was making my way out, came a lady, who also came for a cup of coffee. I saw that she was getting helped, and made my way back (because I really wanted a cup of coffee). The bad attitude we got from a waitress with a name tag written Lulu was beyond terrible, she looked like she was gonna eat us alive. She was so angry and annoyed. The lady and I kept on looking at each other, trying to understand the bad attitude towards both of us.
She probably had her own reasons to have acted that way, but that lady and I definitely were not one of those reasons. We saw the shop open, and all we did was to ask a cup of coffee which we were going to pay for.
It felt like we were asking for the world, when all she had to do was to ring up the coffee and take the payment. She didn’t even have to make those 2 cups of coffee, the barista did ( and coffee was very nice)
I’m not the one to leave reviews, but this time around I just had to.
A little advice to Lulu. Everyone have their own problems, try not to take your problems out of customers. It’s bad for you, and the business you’re working at. The next day the shop is gonna get a lot of bad reviews, no one will come, and you will loose your job.

Read moreI decided to accompany my international friends to the airport to say goodbye. On arrival and after chicken, we decided to drink a cup of coffee and have something small to eat. My friend had the option to immediately go to the first class lounge as she was flying first class to India. Because we could not go to the lounge she opted to stay with us for a while. I suggested that we go to mag Bean for a quick breakfast. I was never ever treated The way I was did I ever experience Service the way I did from a waiter by the name of Jason. My Friends or not familiar with Megan Bean, and asked the way to questions as replacing our orders. My friends tried to make conversation with a waiter and was only made with irritating stairs. My friend in ask you just serve plain eggs on toast to which Jason responded. It is in the menu. My friend is but I can’t see it to which Jason responded again, but it is In the menu. I placed my order for a red cappuccino, Jason looked at me, then look at another table where lady arrived, looked back at us And said he will be back now, went to speak to his colleagues and continue serving arrived after us. My friends asked what is happening as they were also busy giving their orders. I said I don’t know and proceeded to go and ask for assistance at this point. My friends decided that it’s better to leave as we felt uncomfortable being served by a person who clearly showed no interest in us. Read moreShort waitress (older) with long braids was a real piece of work, she forgot my order and came back to ask if I'm ordering any food even though I just did with her. A gentleman was seated at the table next to me and also ordered from another waiter. When she approached him to ask if he was served, he answered but when she didn't hear him, she became aggressive with him and even scolded him as if he were a small child. The other customer sitting opposite me also had the pleasure of her sparkling personality and had to follow up with his order a few times. I couldn't get her attention to bring my bill, and seeing as we're at an airport, there is no time to wait on a waiter. I asked another waiter for my bill, but after no response after 10 minutes, I got up and went to ask another waitress for my bill. When someone finally assisted me along with another disgruntled customer, my waitress appeared, pushed her way in to print the bill then also became snippy when I chose not to tip the poor service. She went on to address her colleague in front of me about her frustration. I see that Mugg & Bean has been responding to these reviews in the past but I wonder if changes...
