Firstly I have no words for this place. Just kidding, I actually have a lot to say. This place is where I had my first date with my amazing boyfriend last year December. I'm happy to say we are still strong. You can have breakfast or a dinner date. But it's also great for just chilling, having pizza with your Beau. It's basically an all rounded place. You can be downstairs for one on one moments or upstairs, for drinks, great music and fun. Everyone working there is amazing and the Pizza us to die for. They have their own brewed beers. Update. I decided to bring mu book club ladies here because of the ambiance and the great vibe. We were able to share our thoughts on Ghana must Go but also enjoy a great light meal. Absolutely love this place. 10/10. Update 1st March 2023. The place hasn't changed one bit I'd day it's even better. The waiter was amazing and place that was where my husband and I went for our first date we still love it now that we have a baby on the way and are married. I love their Oblivion and Regina pizza. Absolutely amazing. I had hot chocolate as well wow wow wow. Absolutely no words for this place.

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Oblivion on the deck, and I can confidently say that the experience was nothing short of amazing! I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional service and hospitality provided by Tracey and her team. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a professional and welcoming team. Throughout the evening, the managers were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that everything was running smoothly. I also want to give a special shoutout to our waiter who went above and beyond to make sure my guests and I had a great time. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all fantastic, and my friends and family are still talking about how much they enjoyed the celebration. I am truly grateful to Oblivion for making my special day one that I will never forget. I highly recommend Oblivion for anyone looking to host a memorable event. The dedication to providing excellent service truly shines through, and I will definitely be returning for more dinners and events in the future. Thank you once again to Tracey and the entire Oblivion team for everything!

I don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel the need to tell others about my experience at Oblivion. The views of Table Mountain are great from the terrace. I had the everbloom cocktail, which was nice and well-mixed, and the traditional beef burger was okay. That's about all the "positive" experience I had. The service leaves much to be desired. My first waiter sat me down with a menu then took off and never returned, that time it wasn't even busy. After 15min or so of waiting I got up and found another waiter to take my order, and the service started off okay - he took my order and it arrived not long after, then the vanishing commenced with him as well! I really wanted to explore their menu some more and try this other cocktail the second waiter recommended, but opted to go to another establishment for the rest of my afternoon. As I was walking out I saw a group of waiters congregeted downstairs in what seemed like a meeting, but anyway some sort of hand-over or arrangement should have happend to not leave customers abandoned. Such a disappointing experience and will definitely NOT return nor recommend.

Stopped in at Oblivion this morning ( Saturday 02/04/22) for breakfast, after having overlooked this place a number of times when in the area. Decor is smart, upmarket and welcoming. There is also an upper open air deck for those great CapeTown days and evenings to feast in the sun. I was welcomed and shown to a table. The menu is varied with Vegan/ vegetarian options, and good wine/ spirits and cocktail menu for later in the day or evenings. I was offered a coffee even before seated, I had a great cappuccino. I opted for the Full English breakfast, 2 eggs, ( poached, medium to perfection ), plenty of bacon, a tasty pork sausage with a nice portion of mushrooms, a tomato and two slices of their tasty health bread. The breakfast was well presented with the butter wrapped like Bon bons, it went down a treat and was delicious. The service is impeccable with a friendly approachable manageress Shirley at the helm and waitron Lainy offering attentive but not invasive service. Pricing is good value too. I can highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back to experience an evening meal.

So this was my first time to Oblivion and what I can say is it is a very modern looking place, there is a relaxed atmosphere, it feels cozy and there are friendly staff to greet you on your way in, however on my night there that is as far as it went for the good things. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and was to be honest very disappointed. It looked and tasted like it had come out of a can. I expected a lot more. Not that there is anything wrong with canned food but not what I was expecting from this place. Would I recommend the place to you, yes I would ,but would advise you to try their Pizzas and burgers rather, they looked awesome. Most meals range between R100 and R150 with steaks topping out at R195, this means that you don't need to break the bank to eat here. Food took around 20mins to reach the table. They have a wide range of drinks and cocktails available including non alcoholic options.

Went there the morning of 13 November 2022 for brunch. We were welcomed by very friendly staff. They were extremely flexible with my choice to check out the place to decide where we want to be seated. We opted to sit outside as it was hot (weather wise). The outside is upstairs with an undercover roof. There was a nice breeze and the view was great. We didn't wait long for our drinks or food. The waitress provided us with some excellent suggestions to try. The scenery was fantastic. I'd definitely recommend this establishment. To me they are not too pricey. I ordered the rib eyed steak with veggies and potatoes. They placed the rib eyes on top of the veggies and potatoes, which makes it look like a small portion. It definitely isnt. I was full after my meal. The butter sauce was amazing as well.
