While wandering through the alleyways of Gamcheon Culture Village, we came across this hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away amidst the village. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a kind and delightful lady/ owner who made our dining experience truly special. The food was amazing, and I highly recommend trying the kimchi dumplings—they were some of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant's interior is beautiful, with a simple yet unique design that adds to the cozy atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by their display of handwritten reviews from previous guests, which added a personal touch. To top it all off, the lady/ owner gave us a complimentary sweet dish made of rice, and it was just delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the warm hospitality. If you're in Gamcheon Culture Village, this restaurant is a must-visit!

2024.10.23 We stumbled onto this place after getting the stamp for House with puppies. Famished and tired. It’s a late lunch. We were too hungry to take photos. Set 1: The beef in the beef soup is excellent: thin and tender. The soup? Was clearly unsalted. You need to put in your own salt and pepper. I have been to other gomtang places that are much more flavourful. Set 2: Beef dumpling soup. I was surprised there’s only 2 dumplings in the beef dumplings soup. The rest were rice cakes. If I had known, I would not have ordered this. Very expensive. It was not filling. So we added the grilled beef patty. Very tasty. The service was excellent. Honestly, I am surprised at the 5 rating 😅 There are more tourists than locals 😅

A quaint little shop but an absolute treasure find. As the sun was high and registering a mid 20s temp, I thought it best to have the cold noodle soup and I was glad I did. This is the milky thick broth kind and not the shaven ice thin broth kind. Salt to taste and I was impressed. Nothing beats home cooking. Mrs had the Beef Soup which was a knockouts well. I’ve had my fair share of K-food and believe would be in a good position to know what tastes good and which ones taste bland. This is deserving of a 5 star review. Oh, the pepper banchan was good too. Salty and no heat. The cabbage kimchi was well balanced too with no krill/anchovies aftertaste. Stop by why don’t you and experience it yourself. 감사합니다

This is the perfect place to eat when you visit Gamcheon Culture Village. Everything about it was perfect. We ordered the bone broth soup and the spicy chicken soup and shared it. The soups were incredibly flavorful and carefully made with only the best ingredients. You can really taste that it is made with only the best ingredients. It felt healthy, filling and refreshing. Two lovely ladies we’re working there and they were so kind. The atmosphere was lovely. Felt comforting and inviting. They gave us homemade Sikhye after the meal and it was the best one we had on the trip. Please eat here when you go to Gamcheon, it will be a good experience!

If you are visiting Gamcheon, you need to drop by here!! I'll be completely honest, when I dropped by I was welcomed as if I was dropping by to see family. So the service and atmosphere is top notch, extremely comfortable and relaxing. Especially those walking around, this is a great place to take a break and take it easy. Okay now about the food... Unfortunately I was not able to taste everything on the menu, but I was blessed with two amazing meals. This included cold soy bean soup noodles and half and half dumplings. The soup was nice and easy on the stomach, and dumplings reminded me of home ☺️ Highly recommend this place, please try it out!

We entered without knowing much about the store before, I was just looking for warm soups for my family elders’ meal. The dishes is luckily very tasty and suitable to Indonesian palete. The beef soup is good (you need to mix in salt, pepper and kimchi by yourself) and warm, but the spicy chicken soup is really recommended for my fellow Medan people. Don’t skip the tteok galbi set, it is very juicy and soft. Children will love them a lot. Thanks again to the owners and employees who catered to our group. I am quite sorry I didn’t take any photos because we were too hungry
